Servers are melting down, the game continues to add players and Sony wasn't ready.

No one can currently get into the game, however, as servers are full. Honestly they should have paused sales of the game today, as the devs already tweeted that they knew servers were going to go down tonight/tomorrow from the rush of new players. Now those people are going to have a horrible first weekend impression, and many will likely refund.

I JUST WANT TO SPREAD DEMOCRACY

Seriously!? All day I’ve been thinking about this game and how I can’t wait for the family to go to bed tonight so I can play. I was just about to sign on

OK it's selling well, but is it good/fun, and worth the money, or is this going to be a flash in the pan game that'll lose its legs in a month? Guy at work is telling me to get it, but I don't know. I haven't looked into it too much, but it just looks kind of mid to me.

I’ve only done 3 missions after the tutorial so far- solo. It will definitely be more fun co-op. I died quite a few times during a mission because it’s easy to get overwhelmed and you can’t take many hits.  I like it. I want to get better with the controls and timing my grenades and such before I jump into co-op.

  3. I think we hit a new level with this one. As the cop walks up to the police car with the suspect handcuffed inside, cop suddenly starts yelling “shots fired!”. Proceeds to unload his whole magazine, shooting into the back of the police car. Even yells out that he’s been hit.
Police report said an acorn fell from the tree and hit the roof of the vehicle. That’s what the officer had mistaken for gunfire.

Full video. Incident happens around 12:50.

  4. I usually love snow days but once again we are without power. Website says 105,000+ people effected. Bullshit. Probably only 6” of snow but it’s heavy. Trees and wires are sagging.

Which sucks because 360 was awesome and had built up a ton of momentum that generation only to let one E3 event utterly destroy it.

A higher price and you get a Kinect whether you want one or not.  A console designed to be used with your cable tv. No pre owned games. I’m probably forgetting something . They really came out swinging at that E3!

Nothing permanent, I've had a few things that have impacted me for a couple of months in a row:

    1)  Vertigo -- Came out of nowhere one Sunday morning.  If you've never had this, you don't know how debilitating this can be.  Took about a week before I could walk, and about 5-6 weeks before I could drive.

    2)  Cerebral Hemorrhage (brain bleed) -- Came out of nowhere.  One second everything was OK, next second I was in the most pain of my life.  3 weeks in the ICU, and another couple recovering at home.

    3)  Lower Back Pain -- had this for about 4 years, before I learned how to deal with it.  Really prevented me from doing much of anything physical.  I've learned how to see it coming, and deal with it before it becomes a problem.

Might sound weird but but one time I was hanging upside down, doing a spinal decompression type stretch. I had closed my eyes for a second and out of nowhere I got super dizzy. I shot up and it lasted for a few seconds and then it went away. Tried researching it, maybe something to do with crystals in your ear that cause vertigo. Hasn’t happened again but that feeling of vertigo was no joke.

  7.  My left knee has been trouble for almost 2 years now.   Had arthroscopic to clean it up and then more different pain happened. Turned out to be Lyme disease. I’ll have a good week or two. Then it will just come back with a vengeance and make standing just to do dishes hard. It’s been slowly getting better month to month overall.  But after almost 2 years it’s been a lot to accept mentally. I didn’t picture myself being unable to run or jog at only 36 years old but that’s how it is and I just have to keep trying to improve it.

  8. I put in about an hour into the online mode. Still not a fan.  One thing that always gets in the way is not being able to reload while surfing. It makes you feel like a sitting duck when you do have to reload and enemies are closing in on you. Nothing about it is gripping me. My son and daughter both played it and they were done within a few minutes. The powers and weapons don’t feel very accurate. Never really know if I’m hitting someone or not.

  9. Finally down to my weight goal of 179lbs. Been exercising every week for months and having no problem sticking to my diet. Taking the weight lifting nice and slow.  Getting my joints and tendons used to everything again after years of not lifting.

Still trying to rehab my knee after the arthroscopic and Lyme disease that was attacking the joint. I can finally make it through the day almost completely pain free. Big change after suffering with knee pain for close to 2 years.
One of my new favorite exercises is pulling a weight sled while walking backwards. Watched that kneesovertoes guy talk about it. It’s low impact enough I had no trouble trying it out.  Now I look forward to it. Makes my knee feel great. I don’t even have a weight sled yet. I just tie some olympic plates together and put sliders under them. Clip a double end strap to it and a belt around my waist. Then walk back and forth down my carpeted hallway. Love it.
