We were walking around the mall a few weeks ago and I went into GameStop with my son. I’m looking around realizing there is nothing in this store that I want or need. My son is picking up games and he’s like “we should get this one when we get home”. His entire collection is all digital so to him this trip into the store is a flashy place with cool box art. I really wondered how many others are in a similar situation. Physical games can be absolutely pointless because you might have to download 30GB+ of data just to play.  I wonder how many years GameStop has left before they start dropping physical locations all together.

After being seemingly referenced in this week’s Grand Theft Auto 6 first trailer, Lawrence Sullivan – aka “Florida Joker” – has responded, telling Rockstar “we gotta talk.”

 

 

 

If Lindsay Lohan couldn’t win her GTA V case, I don’t think this chump will get anywhere.

So do we think the game will really look that good on the current PS5/X series?  Or is what we’re seeing more of a 2025 “pro version” of a console and super high end pc? I want to be hyped for it but now I’m wondering by 2025, will I also have to get a PS5 Pro to go all out with GTA6.

I’m just hoping for a smooth connection for singleplayer stuff. I even have the benefit of the master bedroom being on the first floor with the living room where the ps5 and router are. My kids are upstairs and get a decent connection.  So this thing better work flawlessly when I’m laying in bed haha.

Got an order in this morning through Amazon. Not expected until Dec. 16-20th but just happy I can stop hunting them online. Brought back too many stressful memories of searching for the PS5.

Those were a surprise for me! My wife put the first one on a few years ago and I didn’t plan on watching it but then I couldn’t walk away. If anyone forgot it’s The Babysitter and The Babysitter: Killer Queen.

I tried watching this and gave up maybe 30-40 min in. I might try again. Just seemed really slow.

That doesn’t sound too bad then. I wouldn’t be able to handle it if they put ad breaks in during the movie. It would be too reminiscent of cable days where you try watching a movie on network tv 

Always wondered about the ad plan. Does it show you ads throughout the movie or just at the beginning? 

Honestly, I’m probably buying one whenever I can find one in stock. I could do the backbone thing but I’d rather have a dedicated device. My phone gets used for so much every day that I’m not big on adding console gaming to it in the evenings. I don’t have a tablet.  Biggest reason…it might make my wife happier. She’s knows I’m more of a night owl and I really only have time to play games at night(PS5 is in the living room). She’s always been accepting of that but has said/hinted that in a perfect world she would rather me be in bed with her most nights.  Makes her feel safer/closer/etc as she’s falling asleep. I could definitely see this as a way to get me in bed but also let me play the single player console games I want to play without being confined to the living room. 

That definitely sounds like a strange dream!  For the last 10-15 years i have recurring “flood themed” dreams. Maybe once a month, or every other month. Sometimes it’s this huge landscape of rough waves and everybody is just kind of riding it out. Other dreams involve a lot of water where I’m floating place to place. The dreams are never scary, I actually enjoy them.

(As for the coconut water even my friend who had previously lived in Hawaii didn't enjoy the store bought coconut water but said it was much better from an actual coconut)

I can handle most foods in life even if I think they taste gross. The taste of coconut though literally tastes like poison to me. I can’t describe it much more than that. It’s so bad to me.

Congrats! I've been looking at the 65" C3 because everybody seems to have it on sale for around $1,599 which feels Iike a good deal.

I’m sure it’s “fun for all ages” but it looks like it’s geared a little too young for me or my son. 

I forgot this existed haha.  Browsing YouTube earlier I saw the trailer and cringed so hard when I heard the voice. He’s not bad… it’s just Chris Pratt. Lame. Overused. Give somebody else some work.
