Good luck enforcing that.
I feel like Ticketmaster doesn’t really need to hide their shitty ticket prices anymore. Even with inflation and everyone complaining about ticket prices, they all seem to sell out no problem. It’s a needed change for sure though. This is also desperately needed for things like Airbnb. I’ve seen hosts try to charge insane fees.

Removing Player-to-Player Trading in December
WWW.ROCKETLEAGUE.COM
Player-to-Player Trading will be removed later this year. Find out what that means for Rocket League players. Not sure if anyone here still plays Rocket League or cares about trading at all. For me it was a huge part of the game. I loved designing a new car with a theme and going on the hunt, finding people to trade with. I had no problem buying the credits in game and buying what I wanted from other players. Now Psyonix/Epic want to be greedy and limit you to buying the few overpriced items in the item shop daily.
December 5th at 4pm PST RIP Rocket League trading. The reason: “We’re making this change to align with Epic’s overall approach to game cosmetics and item shop policies, where items aren’t tradable, transferrable, or sellable. This opens up future plans for some Rocket League vehicles to come to other Epic games over time, supporting cross-game ownership. Right….. so you want more money. Some players literally turned into vendors over the years. Collecting thousands of in game items to sell through trading. After December 5th it’s just done, turned off.Big companies sucks lately. Raising the prices on everything while also laying people off. Screw you Epic.

@nublood I blacked out mine with the dark plates 2.0 and matte black sticker down the middle. Love it. I’ve gotten so used to the black color I sometimes forget they are originally bright white.

I never liked the look of the ps5. The new digital one does look sleek. Sure didn’t help the disc drive though. Really bulging out the side now.

I was about to say that nobody really watched Quantumania, follow that up with how I need to go back and finish the movie because I only watched half of it, and then had to go and rewrite all this when I realized I DID go back and watch the rest of it; it was just that forgettable.
I saw it in theater with my son when it was out. When it hit Disney+ he had barely any memory of it.

I feel like DC superhero movies carry extra baggage and drama with them. I can’t really think back and remember much going on with the Marvel movies. With DC i immediately remember a few things. Like the reshoots and Henry Cavill mustache drama with Justice League. The Ezra Miller stuff with The Flash. Didnt something happen with The Rock saying something about Black Adam at release? Now we got even more with Aquaman 2.

Does look pretty good!

@Chairslinger It’s easy to get trapped in cable companies bullshit. I went the nuclear option once and canceled the service all together, waited 30 days then opened the account in my wife’s name. Got their best deal for “new customers only”. For 30 days we just used our phones for internet and watched over the air tv. Wasn’t that bad.

Even more confusing for me. I think I upgraded my phone with Verizon a year ago and there was a promotion where you get the Disney/Hulu/espn bundle with it. I have no idea for how long or how the price change affects me.

Do you owe more than it's worth? The smartest move would be too sell the car for whatever you can get. If it means taking a loss than so be it.

I had a wireless earbud in my ear at the time and it fucking blasted my eardrum at full volume.

I imagine with only 2,500 of them being made, a majority are long gone. They were probably used and trashed. Keep us updated if you come across any value. I'm definitely interested to see if you have something worthwhile on your hands.

Car batteries are expensive these days. I’ve had to buy 2 batteries over this past year and they were both $200-240 each. So that with oil change and labor sounds about right for the price. That time you had to wait sounds horrible though.

Why has Taylor Swift been in the news so much lately?
She made a post a week or two ago about voting that drove 35,000+ people to register to vote. Now every brand is jumping on the Taylor wagon trying to ride the wave. Guessing Taylor Swift articles get all the clicks online.

I don’t miss those days. I have a 9 and 11 year old and it’s been smooth sailing! I’ll take any attitude and emotion bs they try to sling my way. I’m getting my sleep so I’m happy.

There’s always so much praise and love for The Office, but I remember by the time the show ended, it had already more than over stayed it’s welcome. Storylines that seemed too far fetched and characters doing things out of character. Bringing back the show in this day and age….. ehhh I don’t know. Not big on the idea.

I feel you. I got cold symptoms 3 days ago and so far it’s been lots of stuffy nose and minimal cough. My son got the same symptoms but with muscle aches 2 days ago. At home Covid tests came back negative. Thankfully it’s a rainy weekend so we’re all just hanging out relaxing.

@Brick my favorite mental gymnastic I commonly see is when someone puts their turn signal on to switch lanes, the person currently in that lane hits the gas to speed up and not let the person over. Person switches lane anyway so other person now has to slam on brake. Like you just wasted gas and brakes for literally no reason and now you’re tailgating the person out of anger

That right there is the reason I was taught in driving school not to stop right behind the person in front of me, and instead stop a little further back, watch my rearview, and as the person behind me comes closer, then I can inch closer to the person in front of me, while still stopping when the top of my hood meets the bottom of their tires that way there's still enough room in front in case I need to make a quick lane change.
The other day I was driving on the freeway, and traffic had stopped, and I look in my rearview to see the guy behind me not even looking in front of him, but off to his right, and he was coming up fast. I guess his collision detection must have started warning him because then he suddenly braked while I was inching towards the guy in front of me, hoping ding dong behind me wasn't going to rear-end me.
The past week I feel like I’ve seen way more bad drivers than usual. At different times on Friday, I had 3 people drift into my lane over the yellow line like their trying to head on me. On the highway I watched some piece of shit speed on to the shoulder of the highway, speed past 2 cars and whip 2 lanes over. The only reason an accident didn’t happen was because everybody else was slamming on their brakes. People need to pay attention and chill the fuck out.

I’m dieing to cancel Netflix but can’t because of the family. Most of their content does nothing for me, my wife seems to eat up everything they put out, and my kids just rewatch the same stuff over and over.
