Beat my 1st run last night, and have been working to upgrade Dragon's Bite and Dragon's Flight today. I need one more fell lord bone for the bite, still hunting for another bone lord.

Warrior is fucking great! Uppercutting Ogre’s in the face with a massive sword is extremely satisfying.
Yup, I switched to warrior and combat got much better! While slow, the get knocked down far less often and that makes a huge difference when the screen gets crowded with a blend of ground based and airborne enemies. I'm using the thunder hammer, but might try out a sword tonight.

I'm nowhere near house buying status. I'm trying to find a boy taken by wolves or something.
SpoilerI met that lad, lovely fellow! When I returned him to town, the game bugged out and he would not go to his uncle and instead insisted on standing in a bath of water a street away from him home. So I carried him to his uncle and tossed him at his uncle. Touchdown! Apparently his uncle approved of this act of child abuse because this triggered the end of the quest and the reception of my reward! All in a day's work for this hero!

I currently have 178K, sell everything that is common and get that house as soon as you can! I basically maxed out each type of common items in my storage chest and now sell anything new that comes into my inventory.

This game is in my veins! I'm level 34 and having to go to work like an adult this morning was some serious bullshit.

Counterpoint, trump wins Ukraine can forget them ever having support again.
Absolutely true! As always there is a sensible world, which is of course science fiction, and there is a mad world called Earth. In a sensible world, this issue wouldn’t be in play, but here…

Hey, I know you guys are fighting for your country and all, but could you do it like, in a more chill manner because we have elections coming up and it would really be inconvenient to our narrative, cool? Thanks buds, we knew you would understand! -Uncle Sam's civilian liaison

Some context on this article. These quotes were taking from a recent DDC. The point was to discuss the challenges game designers face. To read the title of this somewhat click bait article, you might think a current Bethesda employee was basically saying, LOL we threw this bad boy together, because you know it only takes 5 minutes when you only have 5 minutes! That is not the case, but what was said mirrors points other developers have shared across the industry, pointing to some questionable project management, bad timelines, possible cultural upheaval, and just general business fuckery.
I also just think that frankly, space as the stage for this game, broke with this team's ability to do what they have historically excelled at, namely creating a fun sandbox RPG that just so happens to have a story...kinda. Starfield has a solid game in the bowels of its terrible interplanetary travel system and shyte UI. The scope of it served to dilute the impact of the story rather than enhance it. People are truly afraid for the next Elder Scrolls, but I'm not that worried, aside from the very real possibility that we will likely not see it until 2028. All anyone wants is more, and prettier Skyrim, with a very mod friendly box of code. Bethesda is certainly capable of delivering that!

Fortunately this is the first and only time the French have left an unstable power vacuum.

Stating an opinion by asking a question is rather high on my list. Examples:
Is grinding in RPGs a waste of your time?
Is Kingdom Hearts the best JRPG ever?
Basically, 1 in 5 thread titles on Resetera.

I'm contemplating playing this at midnight like a true junkie.
3 extra hours of gaming time tonight = laggy 16 hours the next day. This math stopped working for me past 40.

Looks great visually, though I would say many SC developed games have the same clean grandeur to their aesthetic, so this isn't much of a surprise. I've grown weary of MMOs, but until I see game play and systems explained, I won't write this one off.

Starfield, for me, did not have the simple fun magic of of either an ES game or a FO game. It felt somehow overly processed and half baked at the same time. Its not a bad game, its just not a great game.

Eh, that's a hard call to make since the level of story telling in this game is kind of like Dark Souls + a bit more. I will say there is a a twist or two with the ending though.
