If you are in NY, you know that Republican Lee Zelden ran against our governor with "Rising Crime" as the center piece of his campaign and drew shockingly strong poll numbers for a blue state. Its true this is theatre, but its the kind of theatre that many bought tickets to see.

Ignorance you know, agnorance is when you know that you want something to be the way you want it to be, so whatever furthers that narrative is good enough that it might as well be the truth! America, but more so Texas, is culturally both. Arrogant ignorance is a magical thing and its why Trump has so many followers.
