Maine
in The Shower
Today I had a various with my director and formally informed him that I would be departing Cornell in the summer of 2026 (25 years of employment). I think time might have slowed down for him for a moment because his response, after a lengthy pause, was: "Two years is a long way away, and you never know how you might be feeling then". I am officially a "medium timer"!

I've watched the first handful of episodes. Seems like a pretty decent show so far.
My wife and I are currently rewatching Deadwood, but will hop to this after. Thanks for the heads up!

I can't even remember what my handle was on IGN. It was likely either "Capn' Crunch" or some variant of Vic20. I do know that my icon was Capn' Crunch for sure though!

Boy do I know it! Look, I absolutely love the idea of the hybrid or remote work models, but I can anecdotally tell you that this approach has directly impacted productivity at my place of work. I've seen critical paths grow by 25-30% on my last 2 projects. Its infuriating, because I personally love the idea of remote collaboration, but my reality doesn't put it in a good light. I type this from my desk in my office where there use to be roughly 60 people and now there are 8 people here on average.

I just want a Jamie Dimon app that tells me his current mood! Just think of the possibilities!
Jamie Dimon is: Perplexed
Jamie Dimon is: Hangry
Jamie Dimon is: Sad
Jamie Dimon is: Apoplectic
Jamie Dimon is: Melancholy

DD2’s “story” is more 1980’s Saturday morning cartoon level than your typical modern game. What’s odd is that with some tweaks it could be solid, but in stead it seems half baked and makes some massive leaps suddenly and abandons plot lines you build in the first half of the game with something akin to a house breaking up as it slides down hill. Chaotic, dynamic, but mostly ends in a mess.

And the credits roll on DD2! True ending complete and new game plus initiated and saved for DLC.

I'm sorry I confused you. I am in Bathall but did all my quests here. How do I get more of the main quest going?
What's the last quest you got in battahl?

What's your tip of getting the main story going in Bathall?
SpoilerYou need to make sure that you complete the feast of deception (see captain Bryant at night in the tavern of Vermouth) quest which will open up the first Battahl quest line and move the main story forward.

Level 82 and I'm going to do the true ending today.
