Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is undoubtedly one of the most popular new TMNT comics to come along in recent years, so it should come as little surprise that the series is getting a sequel. Today at San Diego Comic-Con, IDW Publishing revealed the first details about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin II - Re-Evolution.

The Last Ronin II reunites the creative team from the original series, including co-writers Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz, artists Ben Bishop, Esau Escorza and Isaac Escorza, colorist Edgar Delgado and letterer Shawn Lee.

Whatever reason might I have been tagged in this fine post of yours, good sir? :batting:

The series ended with some very obvious seeds planted for a continuation, so this is no surprise.

New generation of mutant turtles. There have been some images floating around online of their teenage designs, but I'm skeptical if they'll be able to pull it off.
