Xbob42
It's that time of the year! The Steam next fest demos are upon us. Aside from the big ones everyone already knows about (though post those if you like) what are some recommendations you think people should check out? My first one has gotta be Viewfinder. It's only about 20 minutes long, so you can get through it in a snap, but I bet if it's your type of game you'll be sold in under 5 minutes. I recommend just skipping the trailers and screenshots, too. Like I did! It's more fun to see the game in action for the first time as you do it. I'll post more as I go through more, you guys got any?
crispy4000
Viewfinder was pretty one of the few amazing looking games from Day of the Devs. I’m not surprised it’s great.

I didn't watch that, so I was taken by surprise! Especially because the main menu and options are like TERRIBLE. Like someone cooked them up in photoshop in 5 minutes because they weren't expecting a demo. But then the game itself runs perfectly, looks great and has amazing ideas. crispy4000
En Garde is snappy and fun. Basically Arkham combat with emphasis on parries (with a huge window), with a dash of souls and more environmental stuff.
crispy4000
Skator Gator 3D is a decent controlling 3D platformer, but isn't really doing anything special. I wish movement itself involved the skateboard, but instead its reserved for grinding, which plays kind of like a Sonic on-rails section but more janky. As always I intend to try out all the 3d platformer stuff available. But its really slim pickings this time.
