Remarkableriots
This past week I've gotten dizzy a few times standing up. I didn't use the exercise bike for a few days and started back up last night. I got dizzy before that and both yesterday and today after using the exercise bike. Also a ringing sound in my head when I got up from exercising. I'm not sure what the problem is. Nokra
Sounds like it could be a blood pressure issue, in my unprofessional opinion. I'd strongly recommend seeing your primary care physician ASAP. You can pass out and hit your head or pass out while driving, for example, and both would not be great. Quick story: My dad had some blood pressure issues many years ago because of some medication he was on (they gave him the incorrect dosage). If he coughed too hard, he would pass out (drop in blood pressure). At one point before the incorrect dosage was discovered, he got food poisoning and every time he was throwing up, his blood pressure again dropped and he passed out. One time while throwing up, he (fortunately very lightly) hit his head on the toilet when he was passing out. That was the final straw and he went by ambulance to the hospital, where they discovered the dosage issue. 1
Remarkableriots
@Nokra I'll definitely do that. I'm currently on two different blood pressure medications and it had already gone down from being insanely high to normal but high normal at my last Dr visit. That was a month ago. I have to wait until Monday though because they close on the weekend.
LazyPiranha
Have you recently had a cold or something similar? I ended up with excess fluid in my inner ear once after a cold and I was prescribed some anti-histamines to dry me out and it did the trick. Ominous
I agree with @Nokra See your doctor, it sounds like a blood pressure. If you are on meds and have been eating better and losing weight they may need to adjust your dosage, or maybe take you off them if your health has improved to where you don't need medication.
TUFKAK
Sounds like postural hypotension if you’re calorically restricting this is common, but I’d still suggest seeing your pcp.
