Melatonin is ABSOLUTELY a shameless Rhythm Heaven clone. I have zero complaints because Nintendo doesn't seem to care about that franchise. If this game also comes with a level editor where folks can import their own music, extra cool. I hope they bring in more minigames because the variety is what made Rhythm Heaven. It uses animations and sound cues to keep you on beat without any intimidating overlays or interfaces. Harmonize through a variety of dreamy levels containing surprising challenges, hand-drawn art, and vibrant music. This demo isn't going to be out for very long. The game isn't super stable (I mean, it isn't out until 2023), but it's a bona fide Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack/Pokemon Puzzle League clone. It's been well over a decade since Nintendo made one of these, so I'm happy to see someone take a stab at it and these guys did a great job here.
