What primarily baseball players transitioned into other pro sports? Bo Jackson played NFL first, Deion Sanders prioritized football, Jordan well…

John Elway, Patrick Mahomes and this guy named Tom Brady all got drafted in the MLB but decided to go with football.

Hitting a baseball off a MLB quality pitcher, sure. Just the same as you trying to defend a NBA basketball player or tackle an NFL running back. Not a chance in hell.

The difference is many baseball players can compete against other pros in football or in the NBA but players from those sports don't always translate well into baseball. I'm not saying that baseball is the most athletic sport cuz it isn't but it's the hardest to be a pro at.

Just watched the vid very cool concept.

We totally should do a d1p night. There are so many great custom maps and modes coming out. Thursday and Friday nights are always good for me. What's your availability?

EIGHTY-FUCKING-SIX PERCENT OF PEOPLE IN INLAND EMPIRE HAVE ACCESS TO 2 OR MORE CARS, WHAT THE FUCK @The def star

To put that in perspective, 23% of people in the New York MSA say they don't have access to a car at all

It's true. I have 3 cars myself. A lot of the neighborhoods out here you'll constantly see cars parked in the streets because the drive way is already full. Not sure why we have so many cars. The 3 cars I have are cars I accumulated over the 22 years that I have been driving. I think it's mostly because a majority of people that live in the Inland Empire have to drive to LA or Orange county for work. I mostly work from home but occasionally have to drive to the offices in Irvine from here. That's over 100 mile round trip.

I think they just underestimated how popular the game would be, especially with how many people were trashing it pre release. Turns out making a super popular game free to play makes it even more popular ! :o

Because it went free to play I'm sure even the people that trashed it tried to play it on launch day

I was thinking about buying the battle pass, considering I'll probably be playing this game a lot, but I dunno. I have enough fun cosmetics from my time with the first game, I'm not all that compelled to get more.

I'll get the battle pass as it will give me stuff to unlock while I play. I'm just debating if I want to pick up the Watchpoint pack. I have most of the outfits in the pack but I do like the Cassidy and Soldier 76 space raider outfits. It will be technically $30 since it includes the BP. You do also get 2000 in coins. So in reality it's $10! I'd be losing money if I didn't buy it!

I find tanking/healing to be much more fun now. The minimization of CC was a much needed change. In OW1, as a tank I felt like any scrum I was constantly getting juggled around by all the knock backs and stuns. For healers the passive healing rewards smartly knowing when to mix it up.

I stopped playing Overwatch around the time they change ranked to 2 tanks 2 DPS and 2 support. One of the reasons I think I lost interest was because with the 222 meta people started sticking to characters that were just too good. The same tanks being picked vs the same tanks on the other side. It became a stalemate and that just wasn't fun anymore. With only being able to pick 1 tank it speeds up the game a lot more and with the adjustments and changes, a least for now, they are all sort of viable. I thought I wasn't going to like the 5v5 to the 6v6 but gameplay feels a lot faster than before.  Having fun and can't wait till it doesn't take 30-40 min to login to be able to play it with friends.

  8. When Biden won the election but before being inaugurated, there was this guy with different signs on the side of the road in the middle of no where. The signs would say stuff like Trump is the real president or how Biden winning was fake news. The guy would sometimes dress up like uncle Sam and was there for like 8 hours a day 7 days a week it seemed. Everytime I drove by on my way to Target he was there without fail. Like, what kind of mentality do you have to have to be so passionate to spend your whole day holding up signs with stuff you read on the internet?

Sure, maybe not THE problem  but she's the leader, and was responsible for for fixing whatever the real problems were. It's clear she wasn't capable of doing so. This isn't the first screw up she (her as the leader, not necessarily that she screwed it up) has on her resume. Halo 4 had a lot of problems  Halo 5 was extremely disliked for a bunch of reasons, and the MCC was a broken mess for years. At some point, someone else needs to be brought in to see if they can improve the situation.

I definitely don't think this is a bad thing. Theres no acceptable excuse for Infinite online still being a hollow experience. I really can't wait for Forge and split screen coop.

Yeah about that split screen co op...
