Meh, every game has had fantastical shit in it. Cherry picking those to make it look like the newer games are all fantasy based is dumb. The fact that the “exploration mode” or whatever it’s called in Origins exists and could be used as a teaching tool is a testiment to the sustained historical accuracy the AC teams strive for.

Got off the first island, really loving it now. There's a big emphasis on ships again, like a spartan themed Black Flag.

Got a tip for people just starting - do not buy the weapons and armor from the Ubisoft club rewards store. They can't be deleted or hidden, so this shitty level 5 gear is stuck in my inventory for the rest of the game, or until ubi adds some way to hide/remove them. Using these items for the 40-60 minutes that I was level 5 was not worth it.

Doesn’t Odyssey work the same as Origins where you can upgrade your low level stuff? So if you like the way it looks you can keep it all game.

    Started my October Horror

Bava at his best. Its not scary by most horror movie standards in fact outside of a few scenes its kinda kid friendly and its all about the Gothic atmosphere.

    7/10

    The Devils Rejects

This is the exact  of opposite of kid friendly. Its horror that instead of watching the exploits of victims as the killers pick them off 1 by 1 from the shadows , the viewer is almost an accomplice and so much shown in daylight. There isnt a single main character to root for as the "good guys" are bad and the "bad guys" are down right vile.

    9/10

Devils Rejects is one of my favorite horror films. It was such a step up from House of 1000 Corpes. Left me so excited for Zombies future. Then Halloween happened.

  4. Ozark S1 - 9/10

Wow, easily one of my favorite shows right now. For such a dark and gritty crime drama Jason Bateman fits here perfectly while still keeping his sarcastic charm and it never feels forced or out of place. Adds the perfect amount of levity. I also love how the smart characters continually win/get out of situations with their brains. They’re never really tricked or make dumb decisions. Each situation flows from one to the next flawlessly without any need to cheat by making characters do dumb things. It’s all logical fall out from the previous decisions.  Great show, couldn’t possibly recommend it more.

Apparently there are some items and weapons that can only be gotten by purchasing pizza rolls from  Totinos. The ultimate version should be renamed to “ The almost but not quite Ultimate, you still need to binge some shit tier snacks and your still not gonna get everything version “

uhhhh Pizza rolls are a snack worth of the Gods on Mt Olympus sir

I think if they focused less on making the most money possible and hiring legit people to come up with stories in the universe they would have some great movies that would sell well but not be blockbusters, and that’s more than ok.

Lower the budget. Lower the expectations a bit. Expand the universe in meaningful ways. You can still have your “big” Star Wars movies that can be spaced out a lot more.

Lower the expectations? That’s literally impossible to do with Star Wars.

This is a joke right? No one really thinks fox has done a better job in the last decade than Disney...

I’ve enjoyed Foxes movies, as a whole, and found them more memorable than Disney’s.

Also thay trailer looks way better better than Apocalypse and X3 so I’m down. Been waiting a long time, since the damn cartoon, to see a good version of this story told on a screen. Hopefully this is it.
