Harry Brown pretty good British Death Wish

nothing mind blowing but I'll definitely pick up SMT V Vengeance.

Ok, but how about compared to any other live action superhero movies? Or, if you insist upon a Sony comparison, include their Spider-man movies. I'm guessing it's no Spider-man 2, but how about the Amazing Spider-man films.
can't really compare it to the Spider-man flicks because those are on an entirely different level, and I actually liked the Amazing Spider-man films (2 much less than 1 obviously)

Really, how did I miss that? Hope he's okay.

Just noticed I haven't seen any commentary from in any of the recent film discussions? Something happen to him?

Who hurt you? It's going to be okay.
I should say I loved his early days, you rarely see a pure unrestrained psycho on the loose. I have no idea what they've done with the character since around the maximum carnage storyline.

It actually wasn't that bad.....*ducks to avoid rocks being thrown* at least not as bad as the RT score would lead you to believe. no, seriously. Was it an actual good movie? No, probably not. But was it good in the context of live action Sony only superhero flicks? ehh..yeah I guess. I liked it more than Morbius or Venom 2. (granted those are high bars to hurdle) I loved Carnage in the comics, but that movie was an abomination.

DON'T ENCOURAGE SONY
I have the AMC A List thing so it won't cost me anything but time and I figure if I actually went to the theater to Morbius I can go to the theater to see this abomination

saw The Beekeeper, dang was that some crazy violence

Saw Argylle today and have to say I have no clue why it got such a crap score on RT. It's fun, somewhat clever in areas. The only thing that surprised me was Bryce Dallas Howard's weight gain. Don't get me wrong she still attractive, but the last thing I saw her in was the last jurrasic park movie and she looks way different. Did she just have another kid or does she have a medical condition where she's been on steroids or something?
In many ways it reminded me of (only look if you have you've already seen it or have no intention of seeing it
SpoilerThe Long Kiss Goodnight. Both feature a spy with amnesia and strangely both have skating sequences.

been a while since I saw it but there were so many holes in the story, but it's okay aka mindless fun as long as you don't actually think too much while watching.

Yeah and just like Pixar was in their early days, Disney's animation studio is young, hungry, and eager to prove themselves.
this isn't being done by the same people, it's actually being done by a newer studio they set up in Canada

Yep, heard the same as well. Not great news but who knows.
Disney is re-tooling a Moana TV show into Moana 2, out in November
WWW.AVCLUB.COM
Originally announced back in 2020, the Moana show has been re-developed as a film—not to be confused with the live-action remake set for 2025the only thing that gives me hope is that it turns out like Toy Story 2, which if recall was originally going to be either a tv special or a direct to video thing that got retooled

well this isn't exactly promising news, this film is going to be a repurposing of a show they were working on for D+

Yeah, that’s why I decided to move forward. So many years between the two. Wasn’t Gunslinger one of the first books he actually wrote?
pretty sure he started working on it in like 70 or 71

I’m still early, but I do like this one better so far. I just felt my eyes glazing over a lot when reading The Gunslinger.
I hear so much greatness about TDT series, so I really wanted to give it an honest go. Since he’s my favorite author and all.
It's a pretty dang big jump from when time King wrote Gunslinger until he wrote Drawing, you can really see how he grew as an author during that time, it's also a more complete story in itself, whereas Gunslinger feels like there is a ton missing/unknown. I still love Gunslinger but it's definitely the weakest of the 8 books.
Kingmakers - a game which so utterly defies explanation that...just watch the bloody trailer!
