Why does footage like this need to be released to the public?

It would likely get released at sometime due to public outcry , withholding it make the city look like they are hiding something.

somebody else said I wouldn't believe it happened.

There is a not so insignificant amount of people that cant or wont believe without evidence . Anytime someone brings up this young mans death when discussing police brutality without evidence  "well we dont know what really happened"," maybe the police were defending themselves". In this case the video is so reprehensible
it removes all doubt about what happen.

  2. Not a moment but a time frame

Street Fighter 2 hit the streets and our local arcade got 2 cabinets. Within a few weeks the group of fellow gamers went from a handful to several dozen who meet up on the regular to showdown against one another. It was like a hive mind deconstructing the game, someone would figure out a move and teach it to another player and it would spread. Meet ups on Saturday afternoon were fierce competition and would run until night. Players knew players by their mains and their names,  "dude did you hear  the Dhalsim guy was here yesterday and he was wrecking shit!" It was our own private FGC and over maybe 10+ years and I dont know how many games but for me it was a golden age of gaming and it unlocked a passion for fighting games that still goes on.

I went into Possessor with a lot of cynicism quite frankly. I assumed it'd be a Jennifer Lynch scenario. It still pops up in my head now randomly and somehow absolutely has that otherwordly, thoroughly uncomfortable feel his father's earlier flicks had. Best part is it didn't feel stilted or try-hard to me at any moment. It's up there with my favorite Cronenberg-anybody movies. The violence also was genuinely horrific, something I wish more movies would do instead of glamorizing it with soundtrack choices etc.

    Agreed

It's a very half a sleep half awake dreamlike feel but not at Lynch levels of fuckery.

I'm not exactly sure why I ate so many at one time but the experience wasn't good

I normally only 10 or 20 mg but for some reason I was like " this sounds like a good idea". Its gonna be awhile before I do that again.

  5. I did 60 mg of Wana Gummies last weekend, that shit had me couch locked for about 3 hours. I stumbled into bed and watched some Rick and Morty before assing the fuck out.

Why is there so much online hate for the story of the 2nd? I never found time to play it, and nowadays I assume it's because there is a gay person or woman that doesn't need a man, but I'm not sure.

    Spoiler

A much loved character is killed and then the 2nd half of the game you play as the person who killed that character. There is also the "this character is a trans women cause no women can be buff"

Even though it's practically a shot-for-shot adaptation of the identical sequences in the game, the television viewing experience is quite a bit "slower" than the comparable gameplay experience because of the lack of interactivity.

I dont think the lack of interactivity was the cause of the slowness, the show spent a good chunk of time building the characters/world far more then the game did. My wife really enjoyed the show, I showed her the game opening and her response was "fuck thats fast". I think had they gone closer to the game you would lose a lot of viewers. Gamers have no attention span and want to be shot gunned into the action.

At that point you're killing someone to get property back.

If the robber had come through the door and the customer saw the gun and pulled , he would be justified. But not this.

I think this board is somewhat aware of my stance is on firearms. I was raised around them and I own them, I have even concealed carried when the "CHYNA FLU" was being hurled at Asians. Even all these years I find myself terrified when I do carry because I am making a conscious decision to end another human being should the need arise. I was taught you only ever draw for 3 reasons

    1. Your life is in danger and there is no other means

    2. Family or Friend life is danger and there is no other means

    3. Bystander life is in danger and there is no other means.

Killing a man over some register cash is absolute bullshit.

I only heard of this recently, but apparently it’s been somewhat “viral” for a while now. The trailer is intriguing, but I don’t know how I would feel about an hour and 40 minutes of that.

It should have been about 30 mins long. Its an interesting piece of work, its a movie that requires you "vibe" with it . It does feel like those childhood nightmares where everything is done at 1/2 speed and everything is familiar but not familiar at the same time.

But isn’t no Dolby Vision a big downside for starters (for tv/movies I mean I know gaming support is low)?

I moved from a DV TV to Samsung oled. The difference was minimal especially if your viewing streamed content versus a 4KUHD disk. 4k disk vs 4k disk you could see some difference but 99.9 percent of people wouldnt even notice. Mostly films were slightly brighter overall  when using DV but again unless you are doing a side by side you wouldnt notice.

By biggest complaint about the TV is Samsungs absolute shit interface and its remote.
