  1. I prefer T1 over T2. For me it does more with less. Small budget FX combined with no name actors and the barest of story of a future gone wrong makes a hell of a horror film that had you in awe of the killing machine and rooting for the hero out of time. The Terminator series unfortunately follows down the same path the Alien series does, the more you expound the back story the weaker the films become but I gotta give credit to JC. He was able to make 2 films that are equal but different to their predecessor without destroying them .

I gotta agree with @SFLUFAN , the T-800 is way more terrifying then the T-1000 . In T1 Kyle is doing everything he can to keep Sara alive, he knows he is so out matched and out gunned and the audience feels that. Within the first 30 mins of T2 you see the T-800 go toe to toe with the T-1000 and hold his own, its obvious which is the "better" model but it removes a lot of the audiences fear. The biggest factor is Arnnie himself as most of the audiance realizes hes the hero and so there is no question if he can stop the T-1000 but only when. If T2 had been a horror film like T1 I have no doubt that it could have been some next level terror.

  2. I am on the same boat. I like the darker color palette choice for the film. People criticized the end fight scene destruction, not sure why considering we have seen Supes go 1v1 in metropolis before, the film showed the dark under belly of when this happens that the comics and cartoons dont. Zods death at Supermans hand was reasonable and realistic considering the situation , he knows no prison can hold him and he wont stop till Earth is his.

  3. Re downloaded after the new patch and played for about 45 mins. The 3rd person mode is nice but seems to be hastily thrown together, your character model clips thru a lot of the terrain. The game play loop is still the same run here, shoot this, grab that, run to ship. The game started me on world of ice and I was surrounded by the observer robots, I had to run 30 seconds in one direction to find a spot that I could mine for materials, I could see a new comer to this game quickly becoming frustrated. It really seems like a poor way of starting out.  PC UI controls are some of if not the worse I ve ever used when using KB/M, it really feels like an after thought and at 4k the frame rate is stuck at 30 fps.

If you read the official piece they have a clarification. (And say it WILL be in there as a part of tides of war or something... which I don’t know what that is like if it’s something extra or something everyone gets).

Tides of War is what Dice calls a "themed experience". Its timed events where for a certain time a map layout might change or they change the vehicle load outs, and you can earn skins or special assignments.

Let's be real, comic do that shit all the time... how many Captain America's have there been? Or Green Lanterns? When John Stewart and Jim Rhodes replaced  Hal Jordan and Tony Stark respectively,  comic fans went along for the ride. Maybe there were some grumblings, but they were restricted to the letters page and without an echo chamber created by the internet,  those characters were allowed to develop and eventually become beloved characters who developed fans in their own right. Same with Monica Rambeau who became the first female Captain Marvel. Fans back the just read the books and judges the characters and stories on their merits... not today's entitled man babies who dismiss shit outright without even trying it first. X23's run as Wolverine and The Female Thor arc were two of the best things Marvel has done on recent times. The problem is fans didn't really give those books and characters a chance and saw any attempt at diversity as a threat despite the quality of the execution. Some fans may legitimately be bothered by characters being changed for whatever reason, but my thing with those "fans" is that they clearly don't know comics or haven't been reading long because comics have been doing this for as long as I can remember.  I don't even really understand what " forced diversity" even means... the world is diverse and comics should reflect that reality.

Not sure why people are so opposed to the notion of gay ,lesbian or a race other then white. Those stories to me are vastly more interesting then young/middle age white male fights crime.

i would say I prefer they create new hero’s rather then rehash existing characters but only for the reason that it feels lazy and feels like a disservice to the new character. Not sure if this shitty but I would also prefer gay character be written by a gay person or a black character written by a black person.

    Skeletonwitch - Devouring Radiant Light - 9/10

    Skeletonwitch%20-%20Devouring%20Radiant%

I love old Skeletonwitch but my goodness this new direction is incredible. Longer and more thought out songs that allow melody to build and be enjoyed for longer spans of time definitely is not a bad thing. My only complaint about previous Skeletonwitch songs is that they didn't let you bask in their brilliance and were over before you knew it. While definitely slower than they used to be there is one song on here—"Carnarium Eternal"—that's probably their fastest ever, and since the songs are longer they all have their fast moments too, so it's the best of both worlds. I think my favorite song on this album is the longest one, "The Vault". It's got melody, it builds up, goes all out, and winds down and is pretty catchy in some parts.

This album is currently a 5/10 for me. The longer songs overstay their welcome and for me the proggy/post sections of the song dont feel connected to the faster black/thrash sections. It feels like 2 different bands wrote the songs and they kinda mashed them up. Carnarium Eternal is straight up a ripper that shows that Skeletonwitch knows black/thrash. I wish them luck with trying a different sound but it just doesnt do it for me.

  7. My great uncle had seizures. He lived in a very rural area and didnt have access to anything to stop them . Everyone knew he had them but he was super embarrassed about it , when he felt one coming on he would wander to a row of trees behind my great grandmothers house and sit down, have a seizure and then comeback in. My great grandmother would often have to bring him a change clothes because he would piss himself when it happen.

    Both

Sonos sound bars are overpriced. There are plenty of soundbars out there that offer equal quality sound if not better due to many offer a sub for less then the cost of a Sonos. Sonos does have some nice Alexa integration if thats your thing but you could buy an Echo Dot and hook it up to a less expensive set up and get a similar results.

If your looking for multi room audio streaming the Sonos one  works really well but your gonna pay a pretty penny.

I'm thinking of doing 2 Sonos ss systems in two rooms.  Anyone have a Sonos setup, and what are your thoughts?

Areyou  getting a soundbar or are you just talking about a wireless music set up?
