  1. For the life of me I just cant get in to this game. I  got a few hours in but combat does nothing for me, each enemy encounter feels like a slog. Trying to brute force is a no go, setting up traps to kill 2 or 3 enemies is boring and seems like a more work then fun. Am I missing something here?

Messed with core principles like what and how?

    Character recogintion

Defending/taking a point or defending a tank can be won/lost or brought to a stalemate if you know which class to take down first.

There is a few variants depending on the side and the map you are on but nothing out of the ordinary. BF 5 character customization throws that out the window. With everyone all glitzed up you could end losing a skirmish becouse you killed the yard gnome who just spawned in instead of the medic.

Any body doing revives is another issue. In the off chance you kill the medic instead of the hill humper the team is hardly slowed when the medic can be brought back 10 seconds later by the wookie or anyone else. Previously this would have slowed or stoped a team until the medic respawned.

Starting ammo is way to low but that should be an easy adjustment if Dice decides it needs changed.

I do like the limited ammo on tanks and planes but the Call Ins are to COD for my taste.

I can’t imagine life where you and your partner don’t share an affinity similar entertainment. Not that we always fee the same about movies/TV, but we like to watch a lot of the same stuff. It’s like if I married somebody who wasn’t into trying new cuisine, I’d be so sad :p

Its not bad. My wife and I have little to no cross over when it comes to entertainment . We never have the same music taste. I like electronics and tech while she perfers arts/crafts and gardening. Outside of TWD and GOT we never watch the same shows. We do occasionly watch movies together but its stuff that fairly shallow, anything that requires paying attention is a no go because she constantly interupts "pause it I need a refill","pause it I need a snack","pause it I think my phone was ringing".

  4. I am squarely on the side of "nothing is sacred" when it comes to humor. I am also a believer in anything you say regardless of when, where or how is on you.

Nothing Gunn tweeted offends me but I also dont find any of it funny either, it all reads like an some 15 yr old edgelord. Its no surprise Disney parted ways with him and if I was them I would have done the same.

On a side note I always find it interesting of where something crosses the line for folks. Would people still hand wave away Gunns tweets if they were racist black jokes or jokes about the LGBT community?

  5. Watched this today at the ADH.

The comedy bits were hit or miss , mostly miss for me. The shark CGI wasnt bad and the under water ship CGI was better then expected. The plot was handled well, less is more when it comes to the more "sciency" aspect. The gore for a PG13 was heavy, I assumed the film was an R just for that alone.

I heard he got a lot of followers prior to working for ign by giving away free switches around launch time lol.

While its not strictly Journalistic training, one could assume it covers Journalistic integrity and plagiarism to some degree. The dudes just a lazy douche .
