    Right - it's settled then!

Rather than permit trans athletes to compete under their claimed identification, it would be preferable to see women's competitive athletics go away entirely.

Just when I think I know where your leading the conversation,  you take a hard right.

And I love you for it

  2. I was really hoping they would do something interesting with this show but nope. Episode 1 is survivors walking through forests doing dumb shit. Olivia Munn doing Capoeira against zombies, leaving your most valuable possession to be jacked in broad daylight, and worlds most powerful edibles. And how in all these years have the writers not figured out how to write decent dialogue. At this point I think AMC is actively trying to see how low the bar can go

Hitting the hammer in a single action is literally pulling the trigger. The gun didn't fire on its own  it fired because he directly hit the hammer.

He either "dropped the hammer", or cocked the gun and pulled the trigger. Baldwin said the gun fired on its own, it does not. Guns don't fire on their own if they are in good working order, and the devil doesn't load them (old wives tale, becausehow dare anyone blame the men for leavinga loaded gun around). This was all human error.

I can set off a bullet like he did with a vice, a nail, and a hammer too. Obviously if you deliberately strike a 100 yo single action, it will fire. That was literally the point of them That's literally the opposite of it firing on its own.

I dont give a shit what Baldwin did or didnt do

A single action army can fire while not cocked.

As avid gun owner/outdoors man you self proclaim to be (although it must be confusing considering this is the 3rd account you are on now) dont muddy the waters on the topic.

I remember seeing the movie in the theater back when it came out, and thinking that the main actor seemed like an odd choice for the lead character role since it was obvious that he was gay unconvincingly playing straight. The relationship between him and his girlfriend was cringe-y for that reason. He was a poor casting choice for the character. I still liked the movie, but it would have been better with a different actor playing the main role.

Unless I am misunderstanding you the character was obviously supposed to be a closeted gay teen , his interaction with his GF is dead on since hes out of his element. His "unconvincingly played straight" was on the money.

Lee Summit is/was a klan ticket town, so no big surprise. It became a predominantly white town due to "white flight" as middle and lower class minorities moved into KC. 50 years later young families are buying and fixing up the neighborhoods in KC , pricing out the same middle and low income minority families. With no where to go they those same minorities are now moving into areas like Lee Summit.

Yeah, so would anyone who's had to suffer homelessness since their first decade, and basically subsequent decade so far. It's so easy to say that society fails people. But it's also easier to leave people out of sight. But i'm made to feel a failure instead since asians know nothing of strife. And having to constantly curate my life experience to not err a sudden faux pas.
