I can't say that I disagree with him in the least.

While deeply imperfect, the relative degree of transparency that comes with being a publicly-traded entity beats the living hell out of the opaque black box that is private equity any day of the week.

Definitely, but it's not like the types of policies and taxes they lobby for haven't created an environment for private equity to thrive.

It's wealthy making so much money they can now exist further away from regulation.

Unless "Capitalists" come around on regulation and taxation they're going to begin to destabilize themselves like this.

    Bare eyes? You’re  like Trump!

No, like you didn't have to squint because of the brightness, it wasn't bright at all. It was like looking at the sky at night. Maybe we just got lucky with the angle we were at, but like literally the glasses no longer worked because it was so dim

  3. I live along the path of totality and the skies parted for it. It was incredible. I thought it was no big deal before but I was wrong, seeing a full eclipse v partial are totally different experiences.

The temperature immediately drops, all the birds get quiet, it feels like the world stops. The light is dark and silver colored. The sun was so eclipsed the glasses didn't work and we took them off and you could see it with your bare eyes for about 3-4 minutes, my phone screen feels brighter. It was a giant black sphere hovering over us. Really incredible.

I wonder if there is any connection to these dogs behavior and the popularity of rescue animals.  My mom has rescued 4 dogs over the years and each one has had some sort of odd behavior. Before that they always paid good money for a puppy and the dogs grew up to be pretty great. I also encounter a lot of dogs in my travels with work. Im not surprised when I encounter a customers dog, that I think is odd or untrustworthy, and then i hear it’s a rescue.

This is such a complicated statement. There's also "pretty great" puppies who never learn proper dog etiquette, and neither do the owners. They let their dogs run up and jump on unknown dogs, which the dogs then go wtf and get angry, the "pretty great dog" owners then deem that dog to be "aggressive" bc they never taught their dog manners or discipline and they don't have any either.

What does "pretty great" even mean? Entertaining for a human?

It helps that this guy actually ripped Embracer off for like 50 million dollars or something.

This guy is the CEO of Saber, and sold them to Embracer for 550 million. But also has an "investment group" in Florida that he's the head of, and when Embracer sold Saber off, he sold him to this investment group for 500 million dollars. So yeah, what a scam, but hey good on him for scamming Embracer I guess. 🤷‍♀️

He's not the first one, all those arcades in the 80s were money laundering fronts. Remember Nintendo was a card game company first. A lot of arcades came out of Chicago mob shit, Mortal Kombat!!!!
