Former CNN anchor Bernard Shaw died Wednesday of pneumonia unrelated to Covid-19, Shaw's family announced in a statement Thursday. Shaw was 82.

He had one of those cyanide tablets in a fake tooth in his mouth just in case cops ever arrested him.

Realistically there's nothing difficult about it. The hardest thing is probably building your own and if you buy a prebuilt then you're good to go. But if the idea gives you anxiety then yeah I guess stay away.

This seems to be a nimby freakout more than anything.

Homeless people don't have money and sometimes they will fake a heart attack to get a ride in an ambulance. Sometimes there is a nice officer who will give them a ride somewhere. I know when I was working there was a guy who wanted to go to the next city to catch a train and the officer was nice enough to take him there rather than make him walk. After stories like this someone will probably pass down a policy where they don't give homeless rides and that's worse for the homeless.

Paramount+ is a rip off if you want to watch live games. It requires you to have a cable subscription, which defeats the purpose. At least that's how it was last time I tried.

Peacock is good you can just watch it like you normally do. There's a current deal for $1.99 a month if you want to sign up
