It costs you literally nothing to play along with the cultural norms they have in this regard. I think that is one of the reasons I have a very good relationship with my inlaws, I don't buck up against stuff they do that is more or less harmless to me/my wife/my kids. I only push back when it is stuff that I do think encroaches in a negative way, for example, they are all "go give hugs and kisses to so and so" people and I'm very quick to shut that down. If my kids feel comfortable with a family member, they can choose to show physical affection, but get out of here with giving kisses to random aunts and uncles they've never met!

This is a pain I know all too well :P

I’m about halfway through the second book(I read sloooooooow). I enjoyed the first book but it feels like it’s hitting its stride now and I’m starting to really get into it.

Curious how far into the second book the first season is gonna go. Based on the episode titles maybe 1/3 of the way?

I felt the same. First book seemed to crawl but I really enjoyed the second book.

  3. No release date for the first season. Let alone a trailer or even teaser images. But season 2 has begun filming.

This week, filming began on the second season of Amazon’s The Wheel of Time—before we even have a release date or trailer for the first season. (At least there hopefully won’t be a long…

Every single one of those cases will now need to be reviewed.

Remember when that prison in Alaska came under scrutiny for only serving pork to Muslim prisoners? Guess who probably worked to the bone--with glee--to defend the State on that one?

Being still somewhat connected to Mormonism's online pulse, I have been aware of the Deseret Nationalists on Twitter for some time. They probably won't get much traction or attention outside of Mormon and Exmormon circles. It's scary to me that their most infamous user has so much legal power.

As always, the promulgaters of white nationalism are just magnificent specimens themselves.

Are any of our nuclear weapons "usable" without launch codes? It's obviously bad if Confederacy 2: Traitor Boogaloo gets control of a sub armed with nuclear warheads, I just don't know if they could use them.

At a minimum, it seems like they could build new missiles with the fissionable (not sure if that's a word) material inside of them.

The explanation is easy—someone who is 21 still has fun at work, even if the job is shitty, because they are generally surrounded by like-minded peers. Someone in their 40s is sick of working and the corporate environment, and is jaded.

Younger people want to socialize and network. Older people are already networked and get social interaction from family.
