Fair enough. I don't object to the idea that the color grading could be improved (although I didn't like his stab at it ).
I do agree with that. I mean his coloring of Starlord made him look like Trump spawn.

I know that's now why she got fired, but that was the point of her statement. However, she didn't say anything antiemetic, she didn't say anything against Jews, she should not have been fired at all for what she said.
You don't have to say "I hate Jews" for your message to be anti-anti-Semitic. You don't even have to actually hate Jews for your message to be anti-Semitic. You can just be monumentally fucking stupid and happen to be anti-Semitic.

People who think that Republicans in America are like Jews in Nazi Germany are stupid.
People who think that children getting separated at the border is the same as getting sent to the gas chamber are stupid.Come on man. The comparison isn't the gas chamber. The comparison is putting ethnic minorities in cages and splitting up families.

I wouldn't frame that as "grey" and without color I suppose. The video seems to be arguing the the blacks are not deep black, which does a disservice to the color, not that the color isn't there. Which maybe is true? I'd have to think about that analysis. But high values of the blacks is not the same as desaturating the colors whereas I do think some movies (and far too many "gritty" games) in contrast are "guilty" of that.
The blacks are the main point he touched on, yes. But he showed what some adjustments could look like that did a lot more than just adjust black levels. But when your darkest darks aren't dark it will lose contrast. That gives it that look of things washing together that I'm talking about.

Not Republicans, but people who don't carry the current mainstream thought. Gina Carano getting fired because she had the audacity to claim that people shouldn't be attacked for having a differing political opinion is proof of that.
That's not why she got fired but keep pretending to be that smooth brained my man. It's a good look for you.

That's gross. And wrong. But mostly a gross attempt to justify contemptible behavior.

I find describing Marvel movies as "grey" confusing. If anything they seem overly bright to me.
Not sure what you mean. Grey can be bright. The issue is with things blending together. There's just no contrast in the color palette onscreen. It all washes together constantly. I've been saying it since the first Avengers movie but this guy says it way better than me. Vid is four years old though.

A nazi uploads his brain to a giant array of 70s magnetic tape, what else do you want?
A little bit of color here and there would be nice. I mean it's just a fucking ugly movie even if you like the story (which I can't even remember).

Winter Soldier is straight up like the best (or up with the best) of the MCU. How can anyone forget this masterpiece??
Weird. It's the movie that made me realize I'm not as high on those movies as everybody else.

I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over Cap taking down pirates
And fucking up everyone in an unfair fight and then single handedly taking down a jet.
Is that the Marvel movie where Captain America does something heroic in front of a grey washed background over a generic soundtrack?
-
Keyser is right though. I've seen all the Marvel movies and the only ones I remember with any clarity are the first Captain America, the first Thor, the first Iron Man, and the last Avengers movie. The rest all kind of blend together with their samey-ness and cameos.

Character is interesting, but the acting was not.
100%. She was an awful actor. Pretty good physical presence but couldn't deliver a believable line to save her life.

I think people really liked Cara Dune, yes.
The character is appealing. Ex special forces living on the fringe of the galaxy as a mercenary? Now roped into being the law on the frontier? I mean it's not terribly original but it's still pretty cool and fun.

Very cool! My wife did something similar for me on Christmas. We are both superfans of the Simpsons (seasons 1-8).

Yay...cancel culture ruins another career, fan-fucking-tastic.
I DO NOT CARE ABOUT HER PERSONAL BELIEFS NOR AGENDAS! Was she a hell of an entertaining fighter that helped bring up the whole of the women's MMA scene into the prominence it now enjoys, YEP! Was she entertaining in the few roles that she's been cast in, and did I as a viewer enjoy those films? YEP! The buck stops there...stop trying to discern someone's personal life from the roles they inhabit on screen for crying out loud.
Nobody was discerning anything, man. She was shouting from the rooftops about how much of a giant piece of shit she is.

After waiting an eternity, SoFi sent me an email stating they will not be approving my account. I sent them a freaking utility bill, what more do they need? Any other apps out there worth looking into? I'm not sure if I want to go through the effort of calling them to figure out what on earth confused them.
Are you opposed to a traditional brokerage account for any reason?

I don't want to go too far into this and derail the thread, but I know my problems go far beyond looks. I have no charisma or confidence at all.
These are things that can be worked on, dude. Charisma isn't something that's innate in anybody. It's a skill and it's learned. You got this.

Watching the impeachment. Trump lawyer speaking right now and he's well spoken. So odd listening to somebody from that team speak without sounding insane.

This is insane/good (obviously). Has anything of this scale happened in a previous transition?
