Ah Ok. When you said NSMB 1+2 I thought you might have a single cart with two games on it. In this case I think you need to clean the pins on your carts and maybe try with something non metal to clean the contact pins inside your 3ds. You've probably got some dust/dirt built up that is affecting the connection.

Not a recent purchase (paid for this earlier in the year) but it finally arrived. Hoping to get some time this weekend to play.

NSMB 1 is a ds game, 2 is 3ds, do you have a photo of this cart?

Check the contact pins and see if they need cleaning. Also what game specifically as some games have production issues (Persona Q, a few of the Pokemon games).

A bit slow to get around to posting this, they arrived a week ago. This is one hell of an expensive set (all sealed) but also not my most expensive 3ds games (I've got yokai watch 3 and Persona Q2 Showtime ed). I also realized after buying them that I bought RH & SMG:SJ digitally before the eShop closed. I'm happy to have them in my collection (I think i'm above 150 games which does include a few digital duplicates).

You were curious about the Analogue Duo. The review embargo ended yesterday. I got tracking on mine but it probably won't make it to me for a week.

I'm also an old IGN guy, was even a mod of the pocket board, but I don't remember if I was nexis2600, Subbie or Chakoo. =/

Uggg, I thought I was done for the year but VGP got a restock of 13 sentinels aegis rim for switch and put them on sale for $30 Canadian.

They ship internationally if anyone else is looking for a cheap copy. They also have the PS4 version on sale for $20 Canadian.

I have one on pre-order. I will post my thoughts when I get it. There is also news that MLiG will be posting their review the morning of the 11th. 

Also any new orders now won't ship till Feb 2024 and the AnalogDuo will not support OpenFPGA like the pocket does (so no 3rd party cores).

ok ok. I end up adding 1 more game this year. Digimon Survive (switch) since it was $30. I know it's 80% a VN and not a normal digimon game which is why I'm actually interested in it.

My black friday switch/modern games hall. I posted about these in the BF thread but just adding in picture form. I've already cracked into Sonic Origins and having a blast. Of the rest I will probably start Rain Code to continue with my Danganronpa obsession from this year (It's by the same team). I still have one more BF hall photo to post when my 3DS stuff shows up (I'm pretty sure I spent more on 3DS stuff than the stuff above).

I've also gone down the Evercade rabbit hole. =/. Not posted but 3ish? months ago I got the irem cart on sale then saw they were making the Super Pocket. So I pre-ordered the Super Pocket & Full Void (Top left) which just came out on the 15th. In waiting for those I picked up the Toaplan carts and the top right cart. I've actually got 2 more carts on the way as the Duke Nukem collection carts are out this week. Over all I'm enjoying the pocket even though for the Taito & Toaplan stuff I have access to most on the game on the Taito Egrett 2 mini. It's kind of nice having a portable english Cadash to play.

Sonic Origins on switch. Sure it sucks that the original music isn’t there for some of sonic 3 but I’m still having a blast playing through it. Mainly because Sonic 3 is the one I’m still missing for my genesis collection, so it’s been a while since I’ve played it.

Hopefully we get a console port, or at least show up in a yakuza game 

Less of a postable deal (because they're all sold out) and more of a brag but I just did a massive number on my 3DS backlog thanks to VGP posting some stock again of Atlus 3ds games.
