Hang gliding helps you move around the map faster (no sprint). Climbing can make every situation unique. Think about firefights around corners. Now you can climb up and have some advantage. If you like online shooters this is the game for VR.
I typically keep up with VR news from Youtube. I'll list a few channels that are good with weekly updates.

I used Recroom to become accustom to the VR feel. I have noticed I stand differently in VR then normally. I will typically have my right foot extended out a bit with my left a little back. I feel this helps keep my balance for those moments where you get off balanced. You could also practice drunk! Be carful though!
If Facebook regulations are a problem (which they are, but who's going to do anything about it) dont go with their system. Simple. For $200 more you can get a better headset with NO strings attached.
I try to buy Steam first, UNLESS its cross buy with the PC/rift version, OR its a game I would like to take on the go to show family where I cant use a pc. This is the way.
To be fair the frankenquest mod for the original quest was $150 (included speakers), so $50 isnt really a huge deal when it comes to these things. My cheaply put together "frankenquest" was probably $50 total in cost lol.
I think we'll shoot for an official time tomorrow. Feel free to add me on Steam (Stickey) Oculus (Stickeys). Probably going to boot up some Pavlov, but wouldn't mind playing/exploring anything else.
Hello everyone! Since everyone got a new VR headset or have one on the way I figured why not setup a meet up thread. I kinda want to see if we can get a few together TONIGHT for some hot RecRoom action. Let me know if you're IN and I'll update the title with official times.
