Perhaps it would be easier for Biden to beat Trump if you believe the polls. But Trump winning the GOP primary is bad for the nation as he then controls one of the major parties in American politics and the narrative continues. A primary upset would change the dynamics within the party, hopefully having more positive long-term effects. Bottom line is Trump winning the primary is bad for the nation and sets us up for round 2. It’s worth thinking carefully about your position if you’re celebrating a victory with Trump because you speculate it may be easier for Biden to win. That’s a dangerous game to play.

It's not likely, but it's possible to happen one day in the future. To be clear, I was talking about restricting speculative ETFs that are highly leveraged and extremely complex. I'm perfectly fine with ETFs that hold stocks and bond indexes unleveraged. They empower individuals in our system. As for why it's so volatile, that's pretty complicated. It has a lot to do with liquidity/24 hour trading, low regulations, and the purely speculative nature of what it is. I don't know if it's worth bothering trying to dissuade people you know from investing in it unless they have nearly all their money in it and are borrowing money to invest more. If it continued to go up, you would get the blame for convincing them to get out. Most people probably wouldn't listen anyway. Also Bitcoin and Ether seem to be the "safest" to put money in in terms of it not going to zero because they are the 1st and 2nd most popular crypto. Any of the other little coins could go to zero a lot easier.

There was a massive flu outbreak in my nieces’ school recently. They sent around 30 kids home, which is about a third of the school. My younger niece is doing better now, but had temps in 102-103 range for three days. I got my flu shot back in August and so far I’m good. Looking at a novavax booster in January. My August covid round is probably weakening. I still mask at airports, on planes, and other large events.
