  1. I have feeling that tonight and/or tomorrow morning's tweet storm will argue that he didn't direct Cohen to lie, because Trump was a private citizen and free to pursue any business interests he wanted.
  2. William Barr believes President Trump committed obstruction of justice.
  3. There was a time when I felt it was all too good to be true, that nothing was actually going to come from the Mueller investigation. I’m starting to believe again.
  4. I really hope this #WheresMitch thing sticks. How he's been able to go this long unscathed is incredible. He's able to retreat and hide like no one else I've ever seen. It's almost reptilian.
  5. Matt is a capable and affable person. He was at the right hand of Sessions for over a year. But sure, imply that he got the current appointment because of something he said over a year prior before he worked for anyone. The particularly on television part – LOL. What does that even mean? Nothing, that’s what. It does sound really suspicious if you put it that way AND when you ignore that he simply was well-liked and competent. It’s not in this particular article, but the “he auditioned for the job on CNN” part of the past months’ reporting has been among the most absurdly and tragically funny part of this whole experience. Who could have imagined this turn of events? No one. Not us, that is for sure. The idea that it was some calculated plan is silly. Work through that sequence maybe, and see if it seems plausible.
  6. Also is chatter and reaction common in House proceedings, or is this just because the circumstances are so unique?
  7. Watching a live stream right now. Is that their "House floor?" It's like the smallest room I've ever seen.
  8. I don't know enough about House rules. The President only performs a SOTU at the Speaker's request? So if the Speaker rescinds that invitation, the president can't SOTU?
  9. They've really done a great job! I've been in the private beta since December 2017, and they've improved the client so much since then. I've been really impressed with how they've listened to the community to improve things like rewards and matchmaking options.
  10. McConnell won't even allow the Senate to vote, and he's already made it clear he won't call a vote on anything the president won't sign. It sounds like the columnist just wanted something to write.
  11. I'll give him this, he's done an effective job of shifting the Congressional blame from Republicans to Democrats. Democrats have passed multiple appropriations bills, with Republican support in the House. The Senate is just acting as if they don't exist, even though they passed it in early December.
