Posted July 29, 2021 Share Posted July 29, 2021 PBS' 'Arthur,' a beloved animated children's show, to finish 25-season run early in 2022 WWW.USATODAY.COM "Arthur," the longest-running children's animated series on U.S. television, is set to enter its final season early next year after a 25-year run. Quote Executive producer Carol Greenwald confirmed the show’s cancellation in a statement obtained by USA TODAY. “ 'Arthur' is the longest-running kids' animated series in history and is known for teaching kindness, empathy and inclusion through many groundbreaking moments to generations of viewers,” Greenwald said in the statement. “In the winter of 2022, the 25th and final season of 'Arthur' will debut.
