How do I stop this?

Could you somehow be in safe mode? I am not sure of the issue 


Disconnect any external USB drives or FLASH drives and check if your PC will boot normally

BIOS Update might be needed 



I just got my 9900k and threw everything together. I noticed however I got this error when I tried making any changes to the bios, even just trying to change to xmp. I updated to the latest bios and checked to make sure the battery was reading the correct voltage. Any ideas why I get this? Specs:...

Googling "all settings were reset to default values" come up with many hits that are relevant.  MOBO might be messed up or maybe memory got damaged. But I really don't know.
