PC Modern Warfare PC install question

So I only ever played this game every now again, and ended up giving it up completely after having to download 20gb every time I opened the launcher and the install folder getting to 200gb or something stupid.

 

Now I hear they give the option to only install the parts you want, but am I right in thinking you have to install the entire game first? I opened it the other day and had a 100gb patch waiting so I just uninstalled it, because fuck that. Now when I reinstall it, it doesn't give me the option of what to install.

When I go to modify my already installed game, it says that Warzone is required to be left installed.  So try to just install Warzone, and see how much it downloads?  And then add on the other parts of the game as you want (Campaign, Multiplayer, Spec Ops, Survival are the other packages).

Updated the launcher and now the option to modify the install is there, but even with only warzone and multiplayer selected it's still 139gb lol. Silly that I can't just install multiplayer, as I'm never going to touch warzone. Guess I won't be playing multiplayer again either.

No, but it's not the fastest. To be honest I'm think I'm done with cod anyway. The whole experience with this game has soured me.
