I only played the original on NES. Bought it at a yard sale as a kid. I loved it.

When I was about 5, my cousin threw a copy of Super Mario Brothers across the room and gave me a black eye. I definitely cried.

Then you have Naughty Dog character models from last gen that look almost real. I just don't understand it.

I mean, I literally don’t care about that. Character models are the last thing they need to change.

Combat, menus, everything. The graphics are fine.

It’s definitely fun. It just seems BGS refuses to move forward with modern games design principles. 
 

Games like this started out complex because nobody understood how to do them. We’ve learned since then, but they haven’t changed.

Overall though, I gotta say the game is solid. Certainly better than any Fallout’s since 3. The story is actually interesting as well.

I love Deathloop and preordered it, but that game was faaaar into development when Bethesda was bought, which makes it weird to credit the publisher who bought them years into development. Original post made sense because three years after the purchase, you can make the argument that the game being less bug-filled has to do with their involvement delaying it and doing lots of play tests. 

Are tou pretending multiplayer games aren’t AAA. You’re just spouting nonsense at this point. Halo, Forza Horizon, Forza 7, Psychonauts 2, Starfield, all AAA, without question.

Deathloop  launched on ps5 first because the game was already 90% finished when MS acquired Bethesda/Arkane and they already had a deal with Sony on place. It was also pretty disappointing coming off Dishonored.

 

Forza ok fine but pretty hard to ruin a copy/paste of the previous 6 games.

Probably with a lot more violence. That doesn’t mean I think he doesn’t deserve prison, I think he’s guilty of mostly all of it (the one lawyer I somewhat know says the Bragg lawsuit is a stretch and the others are solid). I don’t know where and to what level the outrage grows to.  More shootings? Bombing court houses? Political assassinations? It definitely won’t be good. 
 

I honestly think putting him in prison before the election might actually bring out extreme Republican support for him people forget he got 75m votes, and loss the electoral college by 50k. And as gross as it is, somehow he’s shed less supporters than Biden in the last few years. I think people are fooling themselves if they think he doesn’t have a chance against Biden. Especially if he doesn’t pick a crazy person to be his VP.

“If I die, Kamala Harris won’t be your VP” can be a strong motivator, if your VP isn’t MTG.

What does an age cap achieve other than to deprive the represented of their preference for representation? Why shouldn’t people be able to choose an 80 year old if that is what they want? What does being 80 necessarily indicate, or even more likely than not indicate, about a persons ability to carry out the role of a legislator.

So what does an age minimum achieve? Why can an 85 year old be president, but not a 25 year old? A cap makes far more sense than a minimum.

It starts out very slow but I never said I wasn't "feeling it". I was worried and being patient about the beginning sections but I never said it was not a good game etc. 

 

This will never be the best game ever for me strictly because I really dislike space. Bethesda has improved their animations but the characters still look like mud puppets. I was laughing my ass off (litteraly) when walking around New Atlantis saying hi to all the NPC'S. They are comically bad looking. But some of the main characters look good and animate pretty well. 

 

Overall, I'm excited to get back playing shortly.

and really, very little of the game is actually played in space, and when it is, it’s just short flying sections.

The game is good. The actual story campaign is definitely the best in a BGS game so far. I have no idea how many hours I've played, 6-8, and most of it was exploration of a planet for a side quest, which was a bit tedious tbh. But the main campaign, so far, really interests me.
