Yeah it's bad. And then it provided the template for all the other modern Insomniac games, which are also mid AF.
You take your mid AF opinion back right now -

The premise makes me lol. I haven't watched South Park in years. Is it still quality?
Yup. I'm honestly surprised they've still put out episodes that I felt were classics.

I genuinely think some users here doom and gloom way too much.
If our friends spent as much time trying to register voters in their community as they did thinking about the worst case scenario to every event, they could take agency and not feel like a passive observer.

Politico had some articles about an effort to do this in the general election in several states. I don't think it's likely to hold up. The people want Trump back.
I think it's less about "the people" wanting Trump back (he once again has the same 47ish percent he had the previous two elections) and more Biden's unpopularity currently. Both men are at sub-50% support, which means lots of undecideds.
My feeling from what I've seen -- not saying gun to my head -- is that 2024 will hinge on Biden's popularity. Even though the economy is objectively good by so many metrics, inflation is inflation. It doesn't matter to people that ours has come down significantly quicker than just about every other developed nation, at least for now. But if people feel things are better and Biden is more popular for it, I think he would be set to win. If he's forever at 38% approval, then he doesn't.
Caveats would be all the lawsuits against Trump and the trials which are happening at times when people are more tuned into political news. I think a lot of people are missing that Trump is quoting Hitler right now, but it's not going to be silent during election season. I also met people who were wondering if they should vote and freaked the fuck out when I told them Trump wants to pardon the Jan 6 morons.

Video Game Chronicle's Andy Robinson:
"It should go without saying, but VGC won’t be reporting specifically on any of the stolen assets in the Insomniac hack. This isn’t a ‘leak’, and people’s personal information is included in the breach. Feel for Insomniac today."

I really enjoyed the finale. The ending of it reminded me of the ending in the last episode in the sense that it
Spoilerkept looping.
And as the writers said, they straight-up have the characters mention that they may still
Spoilerbe in the hole
so viewers wouldn't be a step ahead of the episode.
Good stuff. Overall an enjoyable season with 3 or 4 episodes that I felt really gelled more than others.

I know nobody here means ill, and I've been reading everything as well, but this isn't a leak; this was a malicious ransomware attack. Employees' personal info were part of the information that was spilled.

After Spidey 2, they have my complete attention in the superhero world.
Might be a while but Ratchet continues.
Venom looks to be a Miles Morales situation.

Switch was damned good, but PS5 was also damned good with its third party games plus Spidey 2 and the introduction of PSVR2.
Actually, I think everything was damned good this year, so....

I actually did enjoy the numbers and letters one, just because some of the corny jokes cracked me up, but I did really like last week. Poooopppppeeeee!
Hope to watch the season finale later.

Also, this needs more attention: they're working on more than one single-player game.

I don't mind multiplayer from them, but I'm totally fine with Uncharted 4 stuff -- an addition, something fun to go too, but nothing I have to invest so heavily in for years on end if I don't want to.

Finished my Xmas Shopping!

This is the first year that I started Christmas shopping early, like summer 2023 early.
And by that, I mean I would buy something here, something there a few weeks later, etc., so that I wouldn't break the budget. It actually works well if you haven't tried it.
