I'm in the market for a cheap movie playing, Netflix streaming and Facebook browsing laptop does anyone have some good suggestions?

I don't think you have to worry about it this time! Labo was a neat idea but half baked VR isn't.

I would expect PSVR to work on PS5, while also seeing a higher resolution VR headset release.

That is what I would like PSVR to work at launch with their being a PSVR Pro maybe the following year.

Horizon: Zero Dawn- I rarely finish games these days and even less so open world games but I loved my entire play through of HZD. Hell even after I beat the game there was parts I would go back to and just play some of the combat against the toughest enemies!

I got a pair and a buddy of mine who knows that I know my stuff about sound quality got a pair and we are both very happy with them. If they have complete BC and I can use my PSVR on the PS5 I will be in day one 

I usually back the projects from Peterson Games and Level 99 but sometimes there is a smaller project from other developers. I already see a few this year that I want to back but I really think too many games are going this route (sometimes its nice to be surprised by something new on the shelf).

I will probably wait for sales on everything except for Bloodstained (I backed it) but I am looking forward to:

I played a couple of battles so obviously not everything has opened up yet. This does share a similar system to Fire Emblem in that it uses a "weapon trinity" system. Swords vs Lances vs Calvary, then two extra ones like light beats demon or something.

I think the game looks better graphically than it does in the videos.

There is a lot of voice acting, I've only heard the Japanese voice acting. If you switch you have to restart you game which I didn't feel like doing. But it's pretty good and thought it was impressive even the regular enemies were voiced not just the main characters.

 

Matthew is an epic fantasy name and (Childish) Gambino epic bad guy name? Lulz

I'm interested! Actually downloaded it already seems a lot better than Fire Emblem with it's tiny maps and movement system.

Pretty good year for me I actually beat some games I bought!

I imported some during the DS and PSP heydays but haven't done much since then. Back then it was mostly Bleach fighting games and Ouendan!

Got shellacked in the Legion tourney but had a great time. No idea who decided to start a tourney at 4:30 when matches are 2 hours long but other than that it was good. A guy with an Imperial Squad had easily the best paint jobs and mods I’ve seen IRL, it was incredible. 

 

Picked up some stuff, will do more shopping tomorrow. Probably gonna get Fog of Love and some Arkham Horror TCG expansions. Was hoping they’d have the expansion for Root here, but no luck so I preordered the second printing. 

 

Played a lot of KeyForge today and I really dig it. I’ll be interested to see how / if it takes off. 

 

Also every custom game table maker is here and I want one SO BAD. 

From what I have heard from local game stores is that KeyForge has already taken off!

As for this I'm not sure Bebop can be done justice in live action... while I prefer Champloo over Bebop I think I would be less concerned if they were trying to adapt it.

Well I really wasn't planning on getting anything but I ended up grabbing a 128 GB iPad  Nice to see some people jumping into PSVR now there are a lot of great games for it

I will pick up Dragon Ball FighterZ for $15 but that is about all I am interested in at those prices. 

As for the PSVR discussion I think outside of 4k gaming the other reason to have a PS4 Pro is for PSVR because in a lot of cases the improvements are very noticeable.
