SotN is the best in the series with Aria of Sorrow being a very close second (more polish but less depth).

I think by this Christmas you could see it maybe at the $349 price point.......but past that you start cutting corners and the experience suffers
Added: Even the Go has not received a $100 price cut
I am all for cheap awesome VR....but the price here is pretty competitive and fair. I've tested it for a couple days and it holds up well to my much more expensive Vive Pro.
I wouldn't be surprised to see it at $329 on Black Friday and I might have to pick it up at that price point.

I was ok with the old graphics I was in for the gameplay and just ok graphics were fine but now it looks gorgeous

I wasn't impressed with the list of games for it but seeing it work with Steam makes me interested but I bet there will be a good sale on it this fall if I can wait that long.

Am I the only one who is really excited that it's PSVR backwards compatible? That seems really huge for the VR market and I think it will boost sales of PSVR this gen with people knowing they can use it on their next console.

Endless Dungeon
XCom
Crypt of the Necrodancer (not slower paced but totally worth it)

This makes me want PSVR
There are plenty of reasons to get a PSVR I love mine!

Maybe my memory is poor but it looks like Genjuro has been hitting the roids hard?

Wow this looks like a classic already!

Agreed. That would be quite nice. I hate having to choose one or the other, or buy two expensive headsets.
I want a Quest but the current game list doesn't impress me

Farscape is easily my favorite Sci-Fi show and I even met Gigi Edgley at Gencon one year (where we talked about how much we loved Fraggle Rock as children and her acting)! I would love it if Farscape streams so well on Amazon that they decide to do a sequel of it.

I dig it but it doesn't have the beat I like to go into my cardio music rotation

I was planning on getting a Quest this year, but with No Man's Sky VR, now I'm thinking about getting a PC-connected headset because I'm pretty sure Quest can't handle No Man's Sky and I can't keep my save.
So maybe Rift S? Or maybe I should wait an see what Valve is offering with the Index.
Shame is I really didn't want to have wires
Ugh, I want something like the Quest that I can also use on my PC... give me portable smaller titles on the go and PC connectivity when I feel like being chained to my desk please!

The previews in EGM had me so hyped and I was not let down still easily the best mainly FF and one of the top JRPG's of all time. I could play through it again (if I had the time to binge a JRPG) now even though I have played through it a half dozen times or so already!

Just get cargo pants like a normal 90s guy!
I have some Vintage JNCO's that might be able to carry a Switch! I'm prepared for a new powerful version of the system (been waiting patiently)!

So like...a mix of strategy plus hack-n-slash? Maybe interesting.
Also, looks like a game that should be on Vita/3DS.
Isn't that what the Switch is?
Game looks fun I will probably pick it up at some point!

I haven't purchased NMS because it doesn't have VR now I have no excuse I must correct this (the next time it goes on sale)!

It's a shitty Japanese Action RPG.
I assumed it was a shitty gacha game with the lack of gameplay in the trailer.

So I generally prefer robo-Noob but this version looks great!

It's not cheap but this is the one I got for my computer

Alternatively if you have an internal drive around you can put it in an enclosure and then make it an external. It will take more work than just buying an external drive though.
I only need DVD not bluray so I can go a little cheaper and I think I've decided to get a laptop without a drive in it because it just seems better to have an external. So does anyone have recommendations for laptops without drives on the real cheap?
Edit: How is this one?:

Super cheap and any screen size this is just something to get by with for a year.

Anything with new hardware will be able to do all of that, but budget laptops may not include a DVD drive.
Yes I am having trouble finding any with a DVD drive what about good suggestions for cheap ones and an external to pair with it?

I think the second half of the second movie was fantastic but the humor in the first half just felt forced and dragged it down.

I guess I commend them for continuing to update and improve it. One day, I may get around to playing it.
I am still waiting for VR support before I jump in.
What games do you want ported to VR?
in The Spawn Point

With No Man's Sky getting a VR update another game is marked off my list but many still remain... what games would everyone here like to play in VR? My current list of unlikely wished for ports are:
Tempest 4000 (Minter wants to do it but Atari isn't interested)
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions
Stellaris (dunno how this would work but seems like it would be fun to chill)
Fe
Abzu
Dyad
Steel Battalion
Necropolis
Fez
Dreadnought
GoD Factory: Wingmen
Void Bastards
Half of these have basically no chance of happening but maybe someone out there is listening lol.
