    Im up to 3 cats… started with 1 kitten and picked up 2 more off the streets.. missed out on their kitten days but I cant help but take them in when they show up on my back porch all destitute..

     

    last week things escalated, a chihuahua mix of some kind snuck into my garage when the wife wasnt looking… no chip nothing.. long ass nails, and teeth green and crusty like pistachios…. I dont want to keep her and the shelters are full… I dont want a small old female dog… as the days have passed she does all those things that make you love dogs, so now I cant condemn her to a shelter.. so now I have a damn dog too.. cant wait to see what the health costs will be after her wellness check.

    Still Diablo 3… but after a week of doing “greater rifts” I finally have my Ancient Primal

    Weapon and a DPS in the billions… the redundancy finally crested over and i think im going to put it down… no need for more incremental “build perfection”

    I honestly don't think Trump has the momentum to win this election cycle unless Biden does something incredibly stupid.

    GOP will go all in on the steal, all the political mechanisms they pit in place to negate, invalidate or otherwise suppress votes will be in play… the cost of living (always places at foot of president), protests over Israel, the selective border outrage, Bidens age, and the usual “Dems are giving away our money” narratives are all already in place……. the Trump is: unfairly persecuted, only person who can fight corruption, and the one who can save our country narratives are already at play……

     

    Outside of all that im sure theres a few other surprise narratives still waiting on the wings… honestly its a toss-up… the fact that such a corrupt POS even has a chance means we have all lost already..

     

     

     

    DONT MIND ME ..Living in Trump country as I do doesnt help… the pod people here love to engage more than Jehovahs witnesses

    Still playing Diablo 3… no clue why, all the bad guys and everything doesnt matter if you can DPS things away.. I dont know why Im hooked..   If anything I look at the world and wish I could play the scenarios from a Dark Souls style gameplay and perspective.. I will keep playing, just not sure why..

    …He had such amazing presence in Officer and a Gentleman.

     

    He is the Drill Instructor that I liked most in film and not Lee Ermeys from Full Metal Jackets (Ermey would be third behind the crazy guy in Boys from Company C).. Hes the one that got me calling out for “Mayo-Naise” when its time to make a sandwich

      I always used to watch Enemy Mine whenever that came on as well as The Principal with belishi

    Machine Gun Kelly Crow doesnt look appealing specially after the trailer.. 

     

    Why call the guy Eric Draven? why not tie in to the older films, if there was a “franchise” where tie-ins were possible this was it….City of Angels implied a darker motive behind the Crows bringing people back… why not explore that??

     

    Oh well at least its yet another reason to give the original and its underrated sequel another go round (Iggy is having a great time in City of Angels)… that 4K disc in May will be most welcome

     

    Im guessing even the legacy of great soundtracks will also be broken as well.. oh well 2 films is still not bad

    Well Im already hoping for his death… even if he wins and theres some remnants of life here on Super Earth how much of a living vegetable could he possibly be with 4 more years piled on? I would expect that there really would be a shadow government making decisions while Trumps fat dead ass is paraded around ala Weekend at Bernies

    Blue Beetle 7/10….

     

    The main actor carried the film pretty well. I got the Latino based references and easter eggs, they pretty much hit all bases from humor to background music.  The spectacle towards the end was enjoyable mostly because I wasnt expecting the depth of the involvement from the family.

     

    The main armored villains backstory was the thing that git me the most… His background that tied in to the School of the Americas and all the killing in 80s Central America was odd to see mostly because it touches base with my own childhood and things I experienced…  To see that mostly forgotten death and cruelty played out in “popular” entertainment felt odd.. not wrong, not right, just odd..

     

    A mostly enjoyable film but certainly not in the upper tiers of hero films

    Put in some time on Double Dragon Advance..was conflicted between getting it and Super Double Dragon but ultimately went with the GBA game because its faithful to the look of the original arcade games (which matters to me for some reason)… plus it features the best bits from all iterations of the series including the hyper knee from nes DD2, and the party and weapon use from Super Double Dragon…

     

     It definitely looms like a GBA game blown up but retains the look of double dragon and has the most extensive move list of the series… basically takes the levels of the original and add more levels.. also keeps the weird Madison nudity from the final cutscenes
