Everyone is paying for the Facebook requirement being removed. I also think their next headset will be ridiculously expensive, so pricing will "fit" better with the premium set. You do get a free copy of Beat Saber (valid through 12/31/2021). VR is definitely taking a hit from this, as that $100 price increase will push a lot of people away.

God I hope not. Things are pointing in the direction that this deck 2 will power VR standalone. 

I have a harder time with the audio part, constant heart beat or annoying alert when low health. Ugh.

That would be a massive downgrade, even if it was the same price you would get WAY better optics, Sony exclusives, and a much cheaper cost to entry being played off of a 500 console rather then a 1200+ gaming pc.

Quest is taking a HUGE hit with its pricing. We all know where the cost is made up, not just software. Look at the price of any headset outside of Meta. Do you think every other company doesn't want to sell their hardware? Now put that together with higher end specs than anything that's been released. It's going to be premium device with a price to match.

That would be a huge hit to there wallets. It would make no sense taking a loss unless they were fully invested.

Well I was a dumb ass and tried to install the cpu totally forgetting theres a back bracket to install to. Probably fudged the thermal paste, as I ended up wiggling the cooler trying to screw it in. Had to lift the cooler a few times too. It ran 77c full load, but I did decide to order thermal paste just to be sure (comes in Monday) . Hope it doesn't burn up in the mean time lol.

Im a sucker. Purchased. Glad it was on sale! Now I need to figure out WHY the Wanderer is $40!

I've been hearing good things about this game. Not sure if I'll bite or not. Not really in a MMO mood.
