So 2 out of the three MS games included "in the next 12 months" from last years show aren't actually. How bad are they at figuring out development schedules? They better not bother with any sort of time frame promise this year, because they're obviously incapable of actually ever doing what they say they will. The whole concept of last years show was pretty much a lie at this point.

Charity, but the original meaning, to give of yourself for the joy of doing so or love of your fellow man.
If you still have one to give out I could go for God of War Ragnarock PS5.

The code goes to @BasemntDweller2. I'll PM it to you.

I bought a 2 month code for Gamepass Ultimate without looking at the fine print. It's only good for someone without a current subscription. If there is anyone who doesn't currently have Gamepass and wants to try it out for a couple months then post here. If there is more than one I'll pick at random.
Since it's for Ultimate it works for both PC and Xbox.

I would like to enter myself for consideration.

I beat this on Friday. I love this game. I played on normal. There is some nice post game content that I haven't gotten to yet.

If something on my wishlist goes that low I either buy it or decide I don't actually want it anymore and delete it.

It's $25 on GMG right now for PC.

I was very much a console kid growing up, no home PC until I was on my own (all of my Highschool reports were typed on a typewriter). It was a build from a local PC store chain with an 800MHz Pentium 3 and an Nvidia TNT 2 I believe.
The first real PC game I can remember playing was Warcraft 2 at my aunt and uncle's house.

Video gamers sue Microsoft in U.S. court to stop Activision takeover
WWW.REUTERS.COMMicrosoft Corp was hit on Tuesday in U.S. court with a private consumer lawsuit claiming the technology company's $69 billion bid to purchase "Call of Duty" maker Activision Blizzard Inc will unlawfully squelch competition in the video game industry. The Hoeg Law video on this was great. It's a terribly put together mess of a lawsuit.

I just realized why all these options look different. I own a LG OLED C2 not 1. So this didn’t help me. The options are way different.
The settings may look slightly different, maybe have been moved around, but they are still the same. You can also try this article which specifically talks about the C2.

This is so weird.

Check out these videos for the settings you want to use for Series X and PS5 with an LG OLED.

I immediately fired up Elden Ring and it was incredibly noticeable. What I did see was that the framerate was better for the XSX. So that's the only positive I saw. So I am disappointed for sure. Any multiplatform game that comes out I will absolutely play it on the PS5.
Also, like a complete idiot during my panicking I downloaded the PS4 version of The Witcher 3. It took 2 hours and when I went to options there wasn't any graphical options. I was like "fuck"! So I had to buy the new version for PS5 for $30 and it's still downloading. I won't be able to try it out until tomorrow.
I'm a mess the past few days. My anxiety has been completely awful and I stopped drinking caffeine again and have pounding headaches. I apologize if I overreacted earlier but I'm not doing great right now. 😕

The demo confirmed my suspicions that this game is not really for me. The traversal was OK, the spells and combat were OK, the world looked nice but was boring. I really disliked the dialogue.
I might check it out on sale for $20-$30, but otherwise no.

There was a demo of this during Steam demo days in the summer. It's definitely lower budget, but seems decent. It's not a rogulike and the pacing is slower than Returnal.

I'll just be there for a chance to win a Steam Deck. I'd rather watch the trailers and announcements in separate higher quality Youtube videos.

If it goes down to $999 I might actually consider it.

I would like my random number to be generated.

I played it a few hours last night. I've gotten stuck due to pathing glitches a couple times, but checkpoints are very frequent and a quick checkpoint load fixed it.
I like the atmosphere and have mostly enjoyed the puzzles. I wish it had actual dialogue, but it does okay without it. Judging by the achievements I've gotten it seems like it will be pretty short. I haven't read any reviews though, so that's just a hunch.
It can sometimes be a little tricky to figure out what you can interact with. They use yellow coloring. But it can be hard to see with how zoomed out the camera tends to be.

Maybe this will get me to finally get back to it. I've had it installed on my PC for years, having played maybe a third of it, and keep thinking I'll get back to it.

How about Red Desert? It was announced with a 2020 release date and then postponed. It's apparently still coming, but who knows when.

With how 2023 is looking as of right now, it's going to take me several years to play all of the games coming out next year.

I've watched a couple youtube videos of this, it looks pretty cool. My grand strategy experience is basically just Stellaris and CK2/3, so I'm curious to try something new.
Dragon's Dogma II (PC/PS5/Xbox Series) - Information Thread, update (04/19): planned fixes for next update detailed

I loved Dragon's Dogma and the expansion. This is my most anticipated game tight now. I am so glad that this very much looks like more, prettier, Dragon's Dogma.
That said, it looks like it may take place in the same area of the world as before, which is a little disappointing. They established in the first one that there is a much bigger world out there and that the Duchy in the game was a rather small and somewhat unimportant nation.
