Because it’s a janky mess with immersion just for the sake of it. How anyone can be impressed(beautiful world they built aside) with this game after we’ve had Witcher 3, Breath of the Wild and AC Odyssey help redefine how open world games should be is beyond me.
This is Diablo 3 levels of dissapointing.
Sucks to be you

I’m really disappointed. Maybe it was all that hype but the game isn’t fun.
Drink vodka and play cod. This game is for people with patience and appreciate immersion and art. Game is fucking insane. The details are astounding.

How anyone can be dissapointed in this game is beyond me. It's simply incredible. I just played 5 more hours. I'm so immersed.

You’d think with all the hours they “forced” their employees to work the game would have turned out better.
How was it? Did it take you 60 odd hours to complete the main story?

Played 5 hours straight. Game is amazing in every way.

I prefer the more RPG'ified AC that started with Origins and I think Odyssey is a better, logical extension of the reworked fundamentals that Origins laid out. Prior to the Origins reboot, the stand out ACs, in my mind, were ACII and ACIV.
This. Well said.

34 hours in and no way I'm beating it before Friday. I'm going to have to hold off on this for quite some time. Rdr2 will be in my veins.

If I can, I'll continue with AC Origins... man you guys were right. This game is HUGE and it's good. It's up there with The Witcher 3 as far as open world RPG'S go. And Odyssey is even better???
It's better but imo too big of a game. I'm 33 hours in and not even close to beating it. There is too much grinding to get to the appropriate level for story missions. It's still extremely fun and epic!

Tempting but I'll pass. Thank you.

I switched it up last week and drank a Blue Moon when I went out to eat with coworkers.

First you say you’ll donate to the PS4 Pro fund. Then you get called out and caught in a viscous lie. Now you’re throwing shade on @Emblazon happy birthday moment? Bastard. Lol.
Lol, what??

I've heard it's VERY well implemented. Some articles have said its the best way to play. GTA5's first person mode was pretty well implemented but the game wasn't desgined with a first person view in mind. This one was. I've always wanted to do a GTA5 playthrough solely in first person but first person driving in that game is kinda tough and I could never find the right sensitivity for the gun play... which was only passable in third person anyway

Is anyone doing the bounty’s and stuff on the boards in each town? Im not having much of a problem staying the right level just by doing all the side quests and most of these read like just filler quests. Just wanna make sure I’m nkt missing anything cool hidden in there by not doing them.
I was doing them here and there. They're nothing but filler quests like you mentioned. I stopped doing them.

23 hours into Ass Creed Odyssey. I'll try and beat it before Rdr2. Game is almost too massive!

You guys playing first person or third? Hud or no Hud?
.
Depends how well implemented fp view is. Most likely I'll use it to check the environments but play in third person.

There's a pretty substantial boost graphically, wireless (which is what I use), USB 3 for an external drive, and a HUGE jump for PSVR (which I also have).
And games like GoW have performance boost modes on the Pro that are irrespective of resolution.
While I'd rather play RDR2 on the X, our current lack of 4K, and the advantages mentioned above are the reason I wanted to jump to the Pro before the X.
I see.

Yawn. 100 work weeks are like a rite of passage in the industry. No one takes you serious until you've literally put in your time. Like having come into the platoon late, and none of your fellow soldiers give you the time of day until you've been through a battle with them.
I've been there both on Jak II and SOCOM II. I think one weekend I had 20+ Red Bulls... no sure how I'm still alive. You were never allowed to put in over 20 hours straight. But we'd sleep in our cars for 4 hours and come right back, or some people would bring sleeping bags and pass out under their stations.
Though, one time, they got away with working us for 38 hours straight on The Getaway. Not sure how that worked, but it had something to do with starting late at night and the midnight rollover reset something.
Wait. Who did you work for?

No. It just sucks for you you don't appreciate the game. Wasted money and time. I couldn't care less. Game is incredible. Check out metacritic...you're in the minority.
