I am enjoying the game so far. It is refreshing to play a JRPG that has so many thoughtful features that allows you to play how you want.

For instance, you can choose before each fight whether to manually control each party member. Just grinding some XP and Gold? Set all party members to fight wisely and sit back. Fighting a boss? Set all party members to listen to commands. Tougher mob fight than expected? Turn on use big attacks for your party. It is great to have such control during a fight. You can changes these commands any time during a fight.

I also love the ability to sprint anywhere in the world. A couple of times, I have been a bit over-leveled in the game so I just skipped fighting mobs and made my way to the boss.

I am only about 15 hours in but it is quickly becoming my favorite JRPG this gen.

I didn't know a few of the things you mentioned in here. Thanks. I plan to get back to this after Spidey. Only put in 4 hours or so but loved it.

We actually had to use the glue traps. I really hate them, but they were the only option at the time. I won't use poison for obvious reasons and those snap traps are huge and if my dog(who was a tiny puppy at that time) got into one, it would have seriously injured her, maybe even killed her. So the glue traps were the last option. Fortunately, we caught the rat the first night and the husband gave it a couple quick blows to kill it. We did away with the glue traps, thinking the problem was solved.

If it's just a mouse, I'm fine with the snap traps becuse they're so much smaller and can't do much damage.

That wasn't the end of the problem, unfortunately. Few weeks later, the husband came home from work one nightand a rat was sitting in the bathroom. He tried to trap it but it got out and ran into the closet. Scurried up one of my sweaters. He trapped it in the sleeve and drowned it in the sink. Only real option in that situation. After checking the house again for entry points, we finally found the real entry point for them. Blocked it off and haven't had an issue since.

I told that story on a FB page and got a lot of ugly reactions. :p

As for bugs, I kill them depending on what they are. Wasps and yellowjackets get sprayed when they build their nests on our back decks. Spiders get smashed if they're inside, but I leave them alone if they're outside and out of my way. Roaches die, as do ants. Ladybugs get released outside, though.

    You monster!

Alright. I was already pretty interested in the game since it was announced, but its high quality reviews to confirm make this the game that that broke the camel's back. GoW, Spiderman, HZD, UC, RDR*, and eventually TLoU2 are enough quality exclusives. I'm getting a PS4 (Pro). The question now is just how soon.

*Exclusive in so far as it's not on PC or Switch.

Buy one today just for Spider-Man alone. Not kidding.

I have trouble keeping succulents alive.

I wish I could smoke or preferably, have the edibles, but I can't afford to lose my career, so I'll have to either wait for retirement or total legalization with an assurance we could consume it without fear of losing our licenses.

    Pretty much this.
