This definitely sheds some light on things - sounds like some DGA members are genuinely unhappy, especially seeing the gains the WGA made (and likely SAG to follow). The article also hints at the DGA, more than the other two guilds, being more of a shill for the AMPTP, which would explain why they agreed much quicker than its sister guilds regarding new terms. The WGA contract will need to be redone in jus three years I believe after a lot more data about streaming revenue, etc. is collected so I wonder if that means anything for the DGA at that time to renegotiate, I don't know what the terms of the DGA's new contract is by comparison.
