Guest Posted February 7, 2023 Share Posted February 7, 2023 I just watched some of The Backrooms, and while it isn't a genre I have a lot of interest in, I'm also a little surprised that this is apparently as popular as it is. It seems so unremarkable, with tons of other similar content out there. Makes me scratch my head at why some things end up being real hits and others that are so similar get no traction at all. Good for the kid either way, and hope he goes into this deal with eyes wide open and a few actual adults who know what they are doing around to protect him from the chew'em'up nature of the entertainment industry.
