Hereditary

I fell into the hype of this being the best horror movie in years, it is not. There is one amazing part in first 1/3 that I'm sure no one saw coming after that but after that I just wasn't into it and ending was pretty garbage.

Am I missing something where we know Kavanaugh did this? Isn't all there is to go on is an anonymous letter with no evidence or witnesses to back it up?

I think I am on level 7 or 8 whatever the first one with surgery is and yeah the game definitely spoon feeds you a bit of new content per level but each level is has the same basic components to it that you do over and over again

Preacher season 3

I don't recall the last time I've seen a show revel in and fully embrace its weirdness to such a degree, it is glorious. I feel the comics told the Angelville story a bit better but the show version was still solid. Herr Starr remains the best page to screen adaptation on any character I have ever seen with the only possible exception of JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, in fact all the grail stuff was dead on from the comic.

Shameless Season 3, 4 and 5

I forgot to review these as I was watching so what happened in what season is blurring together.

Fiona and Lip are two of the most well developed characters on television. Ian and Mickey's relationship feels extremely real. Kevin and V are great together but the whole thing with getting V's mom pregnant went on way to long.

I'm glad that Sheila is finally gone, she was really getting on my nerves too bad she is essentially replaced with the equally annoying Sammi. Not sure I like the humanizing of Frank that is going on, he was such a piece of shit in the first couple of seasons that I am having a really hard time buying any kind of redemption arc for him.

they really need to implement a copy room or create a saveable blueprint feature, making the same GP's office for the 50th time is getting really old

I read through most of these and don't see any reason why they should be confidential, they should have been available for full public review. I also don't see anything that looks offensive either, there is some anti-affirmative action and colorblind talk but that doesn't seem unexpected from a republican originalist nominee for the SC. 

I am definitely no lawyer so I could certainly be missing something 

This guy must have made some some straight up monkey paw wish to get an amazing job driving cars and being on TV for a living

The Hunt for the Red October

I think this is the last of the great cold war era movies that was actually filmed during that era.  This is a fantastic military thriller in any year. One of maybe 3 times that Sean Connery actually gave a shit about his performance and him at his maximum silver fox level and it is weird to see Alec Baldwin not as a fat drunk.

Fully gimbaled sets combined with really good model effects make for some great scenes, the climax is top notch.

PS. Also worth mentioning is john mctiernan's 3 movie run of Predator, Die Hard and Hunt for the red october, fuck me that is a good trifecta

Played a little last night, it is Theme Hospital with a fresh coat of paint. If you liked Theme Hospital you will like this, if you were looking for something new and innovative this isn't going to do it. 

it is getting solid reviews, I installed this morning but not sure when I will get a chance to play I have a ton of yard work to do

I found episodes 4 and 5 to be a vast improvement 

I'm three episodes in and not feeling it all so far, I think I've chuckled twice and haven't really laughed at anything.

I saw this a week ago when I went down a deep hole of "real experts do/watch ______" 

they did great especially if it is their first ever outing 

I wonder if this be the largest intel gathering exercise by "friendly" militaries in wargame history 

those last few videos look great and actually show what appears to be gameplay(gasp)
