I love the first film and have a real soft spot for Reloaded, but I'm not really interested in a fourth film. Honestly, I'd probably prefer a reboot to a sequel.

Still, having Lana Wachowski on board gives me some hope, and now is a good time for a blockbuster that re-examines our relationship with technology.

I find it weird her brother isnt attached? do they not direct together anymore?

Leaving aside that this would violate the 14th amendment, how would this even be implemented?

Does everyone have to take a citizenship test when they turn a certain age?  Is everyone under that age then assumed to not be a citizen?  Would that mean they are not subject to the rights of US citizens?

And what happens if someone fails the test?  Do you just get shipped to some random country?

This is literally Trump dog whistling to his base. He knows he can't do this, but he is telling them what they want to hear.

I mean I haven't read them, but 5-6 seasons is still long enough to get at the two main points the commenter was making: you're taking a gamble by going with older actors who look younger (because will they still look young by the end of the show?), and you need lesser-known actors so you can lock them down for the duration of the show (both so they don't leave to do something else, and so they can't super ratchet up their salary demands).

And again, the characters are 16 and 17 when when the books start. I can't imagine how anyone expected different.

  4. I actually can't complain, except for maybe Perrin. Not because he's black, I don't give a shit about that. But because perrin is supposed to be a big, muscular blacksmith who swings a huge hammer. Otherwise, as long as they can act, I think the cast is looking pretty good.

Thank you for the unsolicited check-in on the imaginary arms race between the left and the right.

My point was that it is obviously satire, satire about something the far right has been screaming for four years. "There's gonna be a civil war, and we have all the guns!". Turning that on it's head in a movie is interesting. You totally misconstrued what I was saying, no doubt purposely.

Is it possible to break your neck bones in a self hanging?  I could see separated/broken vertebrae if you dropped some distance before the rope goes tight (like in a state sanctioned hanging), but if you essentially just choking yourself, it seems...far fetched.

Yes, the Hyoid often breaks. Its a very fragile bone, and it'll break from pressure, not just force. I know people who have broken theirs getting choked in Jiu Jitsu class.
