It's not like she didn't enter the White House looking to cash in on being the first lady. Also, let's not make her out to be some poor woman being unknowingly dragged along this crazy Trump ride. It completely denies her of any agency here. She's very much a willing participant in this whole charade.

They accused her, without evidence, of being an escort. She had every right to be angered and to sue for future loss of earnings.

I somehow doubt it was over that. And to be fair, their contract was up, they weren't fired, they just weren't renewed/

If they really told her that her hairstyles are too black though, thats fucked.

    Hough seems to deny it:

    Quote

Two insiders familiar with the set said Hough had received consistent criticism on hair, makeup and wardrobe, which impacted her morale and led to tensions. Hough denied this in a statement to Variety as not accurate to her experience.

Trump 100% had a heart attack

sorry, i've seen heart attacks, he has far too much energy far too soon for that. I watched his turkey pardoning ceremony tonight (which was actually pretty funny), thats definitely not a man who just had a heart attack in his Mid-70's. Im no medical professional, but I don't buy it.

It's strange too, because Square Enix currently has no other announced in-house games that they're making other than this and the Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles remaster. Literally, that entire giant company is making no other games presently (they are publishing other developers' games, but I'm talking in-house at Square Enix). So I have no idea what's going on over there.

I mean, nothing announced, but i'm sure their in house teams are still pretty busy. SE has large teams working on very few games for the last decade or so. And this game looks like a massive undertaking, no doubt with multiple teams working on separate chapters of the game. Its not simply an update of FFVII, I would think that if SE is truly serious about staying true to the game, they are gone all in on making sure it's perfect. Whether or not you love the game, its hard to doubt that FFVII will be the most important game in the legacy of the company. They aren't going to chance screwing this up, and they are expecting absolutely insane sales numbers.

After wallowing in the muck with conspiracy theories, dragging his opponents through the mud and questioning their health, he deserves every fucking thing that comes his way. He deserves to be miserable every waking second of the rest of his miserable life. He's a fucking human monster and he deserves all of this for all of the misery and bile he has spread through the world. Fuck him now and forever.

He's the one who lowered the nation discourse to this level. He can't whine when it comes back to bite him in the ass. He deserves all the scrutiny.

He fucking started this shit. He can go fuck himself. No sympathy ever for anything. I want to see him suffer. I want him to be miserable. He deserves it all. He's a piece of crap. Fuck him.

He didn't start any of it. You're a fool if you think this is a new America.

Trump has been dead for 6 months and Melania has 4 clones. Get with the times.

But which of those clones got the job of sleeping with Trump (when he was alive)? Did they draw straws at night, or was there one Melania that endure that all herself? And which Melania clone was happiest when Trump died? (probably the one who had to have physical contact with him)

People can wear a company’s merch and not work for them. That means nothing.

It really does mean something. People in star wars don't wear patches/uniforms they aren't associated with (except while infiltrating, such as in New Hope). They don't put those things there for no reason.

I’m not fully up on my lore, but have we ever seen a clone be as Force sensitive as baby Yoda? That could be why this clone (if that’s what it is) is significant. Or they just want to snuggle with the cutest thing in the galaxy.

Yoda stated in the first episode of Clone Wars (maybe the second, the one where he fight's Ventress' droids) that the force is in all living things, including clones. He was specifically speaking to clones about the force being in them.

I still don't believe the child is a clone. It is absolutely a Tridactyl that they want to clone. They wouldn't guard a clone so close, they would have many. And they would have accelerated his growth, like they do with all clones. IMO.

Oh for fuck's sake, are we now actually claiming that a company voluntarily combing its own back catalog and removing things for being problematic in the current time is somehow anywhere near analogous to dictators burning books?  Really?  Has the discourse become this stupid?

I genuinely don't understand the people who take that sort of die hard position.  My kid loves Looney Tunes, but you can bet your ass I selectively choose which ones he watches because I don't think 5 is an age where he can understand any of the discussion I would need to have about Speedy Gonzales.  Am I saying these cartoons should be stricken from the earth?  No, but at the same time maybe they don't all need to be included in a modern day streaming service.

Censoring art has never led to anything good, ever. You should absolutely be allowed to decide what your kids see, you should not be able to decide what anyone else see's.

Im also not comparing a company combing its back catalogue to dictators burning books. Im comparing those trying to force Disney to comb their backlog to the Dictators who burned books. No group should be able to decide what art is acceptable.

Claiming this stuff shouldn't be there is no different than religious groups claiming D&D should not be sold, or Lucifer should not be on television.

If Disney was currently making racist content and people were upset, fine. But to want old content censored is ridiculous.

IMHO, something like this, where white singers use fake over-the-top Asian accents is not something that should be offered up in a family-oriented streaming service.  To me, this is the equivalency of blackface.

Or this, where a monkey (who, IMHO is clearly meant to be Louis Armstrong, a black man) sings "I wanna be like you" to a kid.

Given the racist monkey chants that are common today at sporting events, and the pretty clear inference that black people are like monkeys, make this unacceptable.

I had not seen these movies in 30 years, which makes me somewhat embarrassed about my earlier dismissal.  However, after watching them, I don't think they belong on a streaming service targeted at children.

The idea that art should be banned or hidden because of its content is both ridiculous and dangerous. It's straight out of the playbook of every dictator in history to ban stuff they don't disagree with.

Why not do the far more important thing, educate your children.

You also have some falicies in your argument, such as King Louis being Louis Armstrong.

Teach your kids. Even censor what they see, that's your right, but don't try to sensor it for everyone else, thats ridiculous and a bit disgusting.
