I just realized that Patrick Soderlund was the guy that told the customers to not buy Battlefield 5 if they had a problem with women appearing as soldiers. No wonder pre-orders are low. EA most likely actually fired him.

Oh there most definitely was more stuff or Disney would not have been so quick to fire him. As soon as Gunn's tweets came to the spotlight Gunn went on a mass Twitter deletion and deleted over 10 thousand of his tweets. The stuff that internet guys archived was what Gunn posted from 2008 to 2012. The tweets he deleted though were posted by him all the way up to 2016. So Gunn had been saying offensive stuff for a very long time and fairly recently. Included in those tweets Gunn had made fun of the LGBT community which he later did appologize for. The pedophillia stuff howevever, he never had apologized for them until after he was fired from Disney. On top of that many of the offensive messages Gunn had been posting where with Huston Huddleson who later was convicted for child pornography.

It isn't just because of the women. It's because of the cyborg women. But mostly it's because it looks like a carbon copy of Battlefield 1 and that game kinda sucked.

Eh, that video was kinda funny I guess but it doesn't fit. It's a joke about how absolutely terrible and disgusting NAMBLA is for molesting young boys but at least they aren't killers. James Gunn's "jokes" were about how he thought molesting kids was a swell idea.

Funny or not that's just what's going on now after this craziness. I don't hate the man and I think he should have every right to keep making movies. But the thing is he's not going to work for Disney again because his "humor" clashes with Disney's family friendly values and so they had every right to fire him.

Most people who are trying to get this to happen don't care about the series either. They don't care about the character at all and just want to change things for no good reason I can think of than to stir shit up and piss off fans. That's dumb. I like the Bond films and want them to stay pure. I also love the Blade films and would complain if an Asian or white man tried play the part. 

Bond was quite defined as a white man in the books and he's the same character throughout every film. Casting any other race or sex would be weird. Idris Elba could do it but why would he want to? He could play the part of another double-O agent in the next 007 film or a spin off. He could make that character into a better Agent and better film than any of the past 007 movies. He shouldn't have to play the part of a white man. He should be original. Established characters should stay how they are. No one wants a white Blade or a Asian Black Panther.

It was probably marketing that told he to delete the Twitter. Everyone on that dreadful app gets harassed. But the people that don't like her are actually other lesbians claiming she isn't lesbian enough and from Jews saying she isn't Jewish enough. 

He was in his 40's when he made those comments. Even teenagers know not to say things like that. How much more growing does he need?

Because he's behind the Guardians movies is why fans are coming to his defense. If Gunn was a nobody he'd not only be universally shamed but probably investigated by authorities. But because some people can't live without their cheesy sci-fi films... The guy said some scummy things in his early 40's...when he was all grown up as he is now. There's no excuse for it and you can try to kill the messenger all you want but the evidence is already there. Now I can see how some of the things he said was him trying to be edgy in Hollyweird but things like when he said how he thought it was great that an animal jerked off on some kid on the set shows the man has no empathy for children. Any future movies the guy makes I hope he won't be directing kids. Not because I think he will do anything to them but because he clearly doesn't care for their well being. 

Well, when it comes to pedophillia most everything else is on the higher ground.
