  1. So far so good with Forsaken. The new patrol zone is dense and there's a lot to do with the triumps page and collections. Finally they put the damn lore in the damn game. The Bow is amazing. And while it takes a lot more resources to infuse it's nice I could infuse something like a hand cannon into the bow instead of needing another bow. Spider's bounties keeps you busy too making you go to different planets. Though when he sends you to lost sectors it's a trial and error game for me as I haven't memorized the names of those things. Making those Adventures part of the Forsaken story a great idea. All the bosses are unigue so far. The pike on pike action was pretty cool.

Speaking of bounties, after dismantling a lot of stuff a new bounty popped up that would give me materials and glimmer for defeating a lost sector boss. I hope there's more secret stuff like that to follow.

  2. Heh, raids were never the meat of this game. So few ever play them and even less finish them because they can require too much time to commit to them and they don't feature matchmaking options. Games like Warframe and The Divison can do it why can't Bungie!? And strikes other than the Nightfall(which can sometimes be solo'd if you're crazy enough) have matchmaking for solo players like myself. Nah, the meat of Destiny is a combination of everything it has to offer: quests, patrol, activities, strikes, pvp, item collection, and dress up.

This was my experience as well. Play with a full team or expect to be crushed. With no trials of osiris anymore, this mode is going to be a stomping ground for pvpers who get off on the trolling aspect of gambit. I don't see myself playing it much.

That said, I'm realizing that I just don't like D2 pvp at all, so I'm probably not the best person to judge. I think the only thing I still enjoy is quests and patrol

    You? Patrol? That's extraordinary!

  4. I want to like Gambit but right now I hate it. Maybe some of that hate is from my hatred of Destiny's pvp in general and that this mode is so new players don't know how to follow directions. But I really don't like that it's only 4v4, there's no drop in matchmaking and playing solo is a nightmare. This needs a solo queue. Other random players who don't pick of motes, who won't bank motes and who don't pay attention of enemy invaders will ruin your game. Not to mention if someone on your team leaves no one will ever be able to take their place.

  5. Comparing the two comic boock "giants" DC is the better of the two but they are both failing by charging too much for weak stories and poor art on expensive glossy paper. They creatives are also paid a pittance for their work. I feel bad for up and comic artists and writers who dreamed of working for Marvel/DC and now barely scrape by after landing jobs with them. I'd much rather read books from Indies like Alterna Comics who brought back newsprint paper which lowered their books down to around $1.50 an issue.

  6. The two significant games that are coming out around BF5's original due date are Black Ops 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Those two games aren't really similar to Battlefield. If people were looking for the Battlefield experience they won't EVER consider a cowboy RPG and a twitch arcade shooter as a replacement. People usually buy multiple games. I thnk it's rare most people would have only bought one game. So I think the sole reason BF5 got pushed back was because of the controversy over telling their costumers they too stupid to buy the game and that EA knew more about WW2 history then anyone else.
