I remember you said this years ago and it's actually a story I've shared with people when we talk about what drives the economy in some small towns in the rust belt.
Yeah it was 2002 my first night ever in WV wondering WTF had happened to my life getting sent there as a recruiter.

Disagree actually - from interviews I've seen of West Virginia residents during the 2018 midterm election I think depending on how you frame it it wouldn't be dead on arrival. If you promise that you'll take care of them and their kids with Medicare for All, get them an education with College for All, and that pivoting on climate will create innumerable new jobs in the region if wind and solar are embraced would vibe with a lot of them. I agree with your conventional wisdom, but I think it can be done (with difficulty). Most of these people are poor, family-oriented, and uneducated. You promise them healthcare, education, jobs, and money, and you explain with simple but effective messaging how that's going to happen whilst empowering them and not talking down to them, they'll listen.
I met a guy in WV that was unemployed for 5 years because he was waiting on the steel mill to open back up. He somehow was able to have money to be at the strip club we were both at though.

Did not try to remove evidence....maybe because he knew he'd get away with it?
I mean, really? What does it take to get a sexual assault charge in the military?
Not much happens all the time. With NJP they don't even have to prove anything to find you guilty.

WTF does a bit gay even mean?

I am all for free trade and no tariffs, but doesn't India charge something like a 75% tariff on American autos going there?

Didn't we try housing projects in the 60s that turned out to be a failure?

maybe this can help be the end of High Fructose Corn Syrup.

They need to throw in a ban on retired LtCol's and above from the military from going to any company that does business with the government or they lose their pension.

I follow this woman on Instagram that is always out, always traveling around (the local area to like big bear and back) and she posted the other day an emergency fund go fund me for like 1500. Then the next fucken day she is posting herself getting a fucken tattoo. People like that are the ones that upset me most.

Its one thing to do it back in the 50s when there was barely any technology, but nowadays they are so geared out it is not the same as it used to be. Not to say it isnt hard, but fuck there is a sherpa that just made his like 25th hike to the top of the mountain. He is the one that should be in the news, not some rich fuck that went up it once.

Does anybody know what these independent Amazon delivery people make on average? I’ve noticed a massive increase in the number of randos in their beater cars delivering my Amazon stuff. Between our personal and business needs, I get Amazon packages 7 days a week.
I ask because I’ve noticed almost everybody doing it is not a native English speaker which makes me assume (even beyond it being an amazon job) that the wages are pretty poor.
We have a guy that is always delivering stuff in a rented uhaul truck.

That's because, as far as I can tell, nobody's been stupid enough to outright defy a lawful subpoena from Congress.
Didn't Obamas administration ignore subpoenas all the time? Are we now going with defying a subpoena is bad? Did the board have a discussion about flip flopping on this issue? I don't remember that discussion.

I'm not exactly brimming with confidence that house Dems will grow some stones here.
Where would these people be imprisoned? A federal facility (in other words, under the executive branch)?
They havn't jailed anyone in almost 100 years. The supreme court says they can't be a law enforcement body.

That's it Pedro, get in the van. We're taking you to Los Angeles.
Drat, you have foiled my brilliant plan to travel 1,000 miles on foot to settle down in Mudhut, Mississippi!
Isn't judging someone by their actions(being a Trump supporter) the opposite of bigotry?
He is lumping people that support trump into two different groups that he believes are one of two types of people. That is being a bigot.

would you have expected anything less from crooks that only care about votes and political donations. Poor people can't give to their cause.

I mean, for fucks sake. I don't even know what to say anymore.
I've aid it before and I'll say it again... there are two types of trump supporters...
• Dumb as shit idiot morons who have been hoodwinked.
• Rich people with no morals who care more about money than people and are in on the scam.
That's it. If you are a trump supporter, check a fucking box. And either way, fuck you.
So does having two preconceived notions of people instead of just one still make one a bigot?

That has nothing to do with appealing it. Adjudication comes before you appeal it. Did all these people appeal the decision? People appeal and get clearances all the time, were these people let off of the appeal process? Or are these denials after adjudication, repeal, and re-investigation? who the fuck knows

The question that never gets answered in these things are were they denied at the initial screening or at the rebuttal stage? I had my security clearance denied once at the screening level because my grandfather was a spy for england. After rebutting that he now had Alzheimers it was granted.

This stuff is so weird to me. It is an area I don’t feel like I have much understanding of.
It is the continental shelf act that became law after Truman talked about it in the late 40s. It has never been tested all the way to the Supreme Court.

The argument comes on one's definition of "high capacity". Personally I consider 10-15 round magazines to be standard capacity.
It used to be until we started fighting against AKs in Vietnam that had in some cases 100 round mags. We extended ours in response, ours were 20 up to that point.

I thank god everyday my son who is now 11 has never had a sip of soda. He drinks water and milk for the most part. He had a bought with juice boxes in the past but he has made it through that. He is skinny as a rail and I hope he stays like that. I quit drinking soda just over a year ago and the change in quality of life is amazing.

Seen any studies about “constitutional carry” states?
Vermont has had constitutional carry since its founding in 1791 and is most years the safest state in the union as far as gun violence goes. It usually bounces around in the top spots.
