Man - You ruined my life!
Also man - “...fired from his summer job and could get him tossed from his new college.”
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Look I’m not saying this is right or forgiveable, but it’s fucking absurd that this 22 year old is saying his entire life is ruined. You’re not even out of school yet.
Not really anything to do with the rape accusations, but your life absolutely can be ruined by the time you're 22. If you pick the wrong college, pick the wrong degree to pursue, and/or pick the wrong career to pursue, you're fucked.

I get about an extra $20 per biweekly check. Totally worth having to deal with this president for 4 (or God forbid 8) years...

Canada struck back at U.S. steel and aluminum tariffs Friday, vowing to impose punitive measures on C$16.6 billion ($12.63 billion) of American goods and unveiling a C$2 billion aid package for affected industries and workers.
Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said the tariffs would take effect as planned on July 1 and stay in place "until the United States eliminates its trade restrictive measures against Canada."Trade wars are easy!

I would think after this next justice is placed all of the recent gun control laws passed by states are going to be the first things to go once they make it up there.
Shall not infringe!

Are you seeing anybody to help with that? Your D1P fam loves you and we want to help how we can.
I'm seeing a therapist bi-weekly (I would go weekly, but the co-pay is $60, and I can't afford that).
I appreciate the warm wishes from everyone, though. Thanks guys.

In all seriousness, I've been dealing with depression for the last few months or so. Shit news like this is the last thing I need.

I'm still going to be stuck at my dead-end job for decades.
I know that has nothing to do with Trump, but still. -

Even better: you just know that should any climate change laws be passed in that time frame, they're going to be fine unconstitutional as well. So you will never be happy again.
When was I ever happy?

Just wait until the case goes back to SCOTUS now. Be prepared for "no homos" signs.
Why stop there?

At least vote. We can say we did something.
There will be plenty of sorrow at my house, though.
I'll still vote. It's just that I have no reason anymore to feel hopeful about pretty much anything for the next 2-3 decades.

And I never said Democrats should just sit back and wallow in sorrow, so I don't know why you're jumping on my case so hard. I'm doing my part by voting and donating to candidates.
About the gun control issue, though, what have the protests really done? What major legislation has been enacted in regards to gun control?
Well, that's what I was planning on doing.

The GOP lost seats in the house and Senate in 2016, and have continued to lose in both in special elections since, Trump won the presidency while losing the popular vote by almost 3 million. Gerrymandering they've set up in the past decade is their only hope. But sure they're political propaganda machine is too strong.
Eh. Maybe I'm just completely cynical and bitter after dealing with the Dotard-in-chief for the last year and a half...

I'm pretty sure that at this point, the Democrats will not win the house or the senate. Trump and the GOP's political propaganda machine is too strong.
