seems like the place to post this. I just started messing with the original division today and got through the intro part with no problem, but now that I am in first real section I am getting my ass handed to me. It says the enemy level is like 2 or 3 and I am getting hosed. Any tips on how to level up easily/get cash for better gear?

If you use cover, the regular dudes shouldn't be too bad. It's the bosses that are a bit of a handful when you're low level.

From everything I have seen it looks like they concentrated more on the PVP side of things instead of the PVE which looks nearly identicle to the first game so much so that it looks like it could be an expansion to the first game.

I don't see that as a problem considering the PVP was the worst part of the game.

Wow. Did the Giant Bomb guys hate Anthem. Just listened to the Bombcast.

I've never heard a group of people that seem like they're exhausted as fuck playing video games for a living.

And in turn, they're exhausting to listen to. In this particular case, they're clueless.

I’ve played enough of this demo to know that I really like this game so I’m shutting it down.  Can’t wait until full release.

Agree. I've played enough to know that I like it quite a bit. Might play one more time.  Can't wait for release.

Also, I played on a peasant PS4 and it ran just fine.

    Great news. Thanks.  lol

Played for several hours this afternoon. Got the infinite load a handful of times. If you shut down the game and go back in, it should tell you that you already have an expedition started and if you'd like to rejoin.   Do that and it should work.

I repeated that several times and it worked every time.

As for my time with it, I really enjoyed it. I think it'll be a great game, a lot of fun and it has a tonne of potential.

This is the approach they should have taken in the first place instead of rushing to try and emulate what Marvel was doing. Their two non-Snyder solo movies have both been unexpected hits so it's not the characters at all and never has been. It was them trying to emulate what Marvel was doing, just be true to the characters and make good movies.

I don't think there was anything wrong with their approach or desire to do a shared universe.  I also don't think they were necessarily trying to emulate Marvel just because they did it first, but they definitely wanted those dollars.

Therein lies the problem.  They were greedy fucks and wanted what Marvel built over a decade in what, like a third of the time.  They butchered the last half of Green Lantern.  All of Snider's films had serious problems of one sort or another.  They rushed the shit out of everything and fucked it all up because they couldn't just take the fantastic characters they had and make great movies and let everything else fall into place.

I was really hoping with Geoff Johns involved that he could be like their Kevin Feige.  That obviously didn't pan out.

They're going to concentrate on solo movies, not because of a conscious choice, but because they were forced to.  I'm happy Wonder Woman was so good and Aquaman has done well and I have high hopes for Shazam.  They also don't have to keep going back to the trinity of Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman constantly either, although I'm mainly talking about the first two. :p

I was so looking forward to getting my reservation ready for the Collector's Edition thinking it may be $150 most which I'm willing to shell out being a fan of the series and loving the collector's edition from MK9. I'll be passing on this as the price is......

    $299.99.

It comes with steelcases and a Scoripion head bust. Not worth it to me. I'll just get the game and season pass.

That head bust must be some quality. ;)

Well last weekend when I went to my LCS I told them after much debate to cancel my comic pulls with them.  I let them know I will continue to still pick up a few titles but not enough to meet the 10 title minimum.

I have been collecting comics since 1984 and was very hard to come to this decision.  After going back and reading some of the older stories from the 70's/80's/90's just reminded me how much I loved them then but not as much now.  For the longest time I have been buying many books and not even reading them.  I would just say to myself I am saving them up to read in bulk.  But most of what I read or tried to read again (getting back into X-Men and Avengers for example) I just didn't enjoy.  Several years ago I dropped DC titles mostly due to cost of new comics and at the time what a mess it was.

I will still pick up a few titles (G.I. Joe An American Hero) but now will mostly be something I am going to read.  I will continue to do the weekly posting here for whats shipping.  I will keep reading news and stories but my hard core reading/collecting days are done.  Due to how easy it is now to read digital comics and love my Kindle HD 10 tablet I can just wait for digital trades to read event titles and such.  The sales Amazon has done is a great way to keep up on titles as well.

For my personal collection I am going to spend the winter going through what I want to keep and purge the rest.

    This weeks pull

    Marvel Comics

    AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #11

PETER PARKER SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN #313 SG

That's a tough decision, @JVC920.  Amazingly enough, like yourself and @skillzdadirecta, those same thoughts have been going through my mind as well recently.

With me, a large portion of my entertainment time has been playing all of the big games and as a result I've been doing a lot of buying and not a lot of reading. I think I had read only two books in the last couple months.

Like yourself, I've been collecting since around 1985. That's a long time doing something that I've really loved over the years. I was wondering why my desire to read was so lacking and have contemplated that maybe it was time to bring this collecting journey to an end.

I've certainly cut back on my titles as I used to be at almost 80 and now I'm under 40 and of those, several aren't out every month. What's kept me from making the decision to stop was me finally knuckling down a couple weeks ago and reading. I got through 30 books! While a decision similar to yours may come for me in the next year, I'm not pulling the trigger just yet.

    I respect your decision though.
