  1. Shazam could be fun, but it's really close to the cheesy/Youtube movie look and feel.  Or maybe the contrast of how the kid as a kid is more mature than the kid as Shazam.  I really don't like Shazam's voice inflections; he's way over acting.

I'm digging Aquaman so far, but I can't tell how good or bad this movie will be based on the trailer.  Black Manta looked really badass though.

Just announced by Dave Filoni at San Diego Comic-Con during a 10th anniversary celebration of the beloved animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be returning with 12 all-new episodes on Disney’s direct-to-consumer streaming service.

StarWars.com: To you personally, what does it mean to get to finish it?

Dave Filoni: Personally, it’s very rewarding. Any opportunity to put the final pieces of the story in place is meaningful as a storyteller. I’m happy for the opportunity to define these things and the end of this part of the Clone War. It also makes me reflect on all the people that I got to work with over the years. It reinforces the things I learned from George. It reminds me of the important elements that go into making Star Wars. So, it’s nice on several levels, and I think for the crew that’s still here that worked on Clone Wars, they feel that, as well.

I picked up Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and Wolfenstein: The New Order for $10 each. Probably should've grabbed the Stellaris expansions instead. Fuck.

They actually have them bundled together for $15.  Perhaps a refund is in order?

  4. Get faster memory.  3000 speed isn't much more than 2400.

AMD's Ryzen processors are better than an Intel Core i5 at the same price.  If you stick with Intel you should get an i7, as an i5 has no life left in it for future games.  However, i5's are perfectly fine for your backlog.  But with a Ryzen 5 processor you can get six cores/twelve threads or with a Ryzen 7 1700 you can get eight cores/16 threads for the same price as or less than an i5 four core/four thread processor.

Dust filters are a *thumbs up*  Some cases come with them built in.  Since I've been using them in my newest case it stays very clean on the inside, even if I let the filters get too dirty.  They just work, and as long as you have more fans than you need airflow won't be a problem.

A GTX 1060 is a huge upgrade over a 1050 Ti.  It's too bad they actually cost more now than when they did at the time of their release 1.5 years ago.  But video card prices are finally dropping now that the mining craze has slowed down.  If you could actually wait a few months, perhaps if your current video card is actually still functional, that would be the more cost effective route to take.

Would those be Radeon Fury cards? Hard to keep up with these graphic cards!

I just want to make sure I can play Star Citizen at 1080p at a decent frame rate whenever it comes out.

No Fury's there, but the Radeon 580 is close in performance, newer, and uses less power.  Cards named Vega are currently AMD's fastest available.

It should do what you want, but the processor is a bit weak for gaming.  I believe you can find something better for that price.

  7. The video card barely meets the minimum requirements for WoW.  Not sure what else is in your backlog, but it will struggle to even run some last gen games, and forget about running at 1080p.  If you could dish out another $100 for a dedicated video card, then it would be OK.

Here's a machine that will play your games better, but it's worse in every other aspect.  It's about the cheapest thing you'll find:

  8. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Somehow even dumber than the first movie and every character is a caricature.  There really isn't a plot, other than they used any excuse to string together the scenes where dinosaurs are in places they shouldn't be or doing things they wouldn't normally do.

And they somehow, somehow even after the last one, wringed out even more nostalgia from of the first film, and of course re-hashed the same beats and surprises.

    They've gone full Bay-Transformers.
