Changing the subject slightly - what’s the best sub-$500 TV for that aforementioned secondary set? Thinking TCL or the new Toshiba FireTV - the set isn’t going to be used much, TV speakers will likely be used for a good while until I replace my current AV Receiver with an HDMI 2.1 unit
I mention rtings more than I probably should, but yeah the TCL 55S405 is the recommended TV under $500
Not a lot of reviews on the Toshiba Fire TV from what I can find. Basic reviews from customers on Best Buy are 4-5 star, but I usually take that with a grain of salt.
I'd probably wait a little bit and see how it fairs or go mess around with one in store.

I got my games from Gamestop today. They actually turned out pretty well.
Aladdin and Castlevania II have no label issues and are pretty clean carts.
Bubble Bobble was some minor tearing at the top of the cart, but its not that bad.
No cases, no sleeves, no manuals, no boxes. Wasn't really expecting them, but figured I'd include that.

I definitely wouldn't mind a physical copy of TLOU.

Microsoft Chief says future games could run exclusively on 4k console
Another link because Telegraph.uk is lame
I do want to point out that the article starts with "Currently, Microsoft says all Xbox One X games will be capable of running on the current Xbox One S and Xbox One consoles too."
So this is just plans for the future, the Xbox One could just be phased out as its technology gets more and more dated.

It took me awhile to get through TLOU. While I really enjoy the story, the gameplay can be a bit of a slog at times.
After 4 or 5 tries of making it a couple hours in I just sat down one weekend and put a lot of time into it.
I'm glad I did as it was a fun adventure, I might try to play it again before the new one releases.

Astro A40TR for my Xbox, PS4, and Switch. Although I have to say the headset is really heavy. I just don’t want to spend more money to get a new one
I have the Philips SHP 9500 for my computer.

I have had the X900E and now have the X900F. The X900E is an excellent TV. The biggest differences between the two are that X900F is slightly brighter, better local dimming, faster response time so better motion handling and less inputlag and Dolby Vision support. The difference in price last time I check was about a $1k (75") difference probably not that big in the 55"/65" range. I would go with the X900E if X900F is out of your price range. Both TVs are both great.
Its just going in my room so it would be the 49". Its just a $300 difference (amazon/bestbuy).
I just went through Rtings comparing them. X900F seems like a slight upgrade in almost every category with a couple bigger jumps. It has a couple things it loses in, but they are small (not even .5 of a loss).
I went for the X900F just because it seems overall the better TV. I didn't really want to spend $1100, but whatever.

Anyone have any experience with the X900E vs X900F?
My parents want a new TV, I was going to give them my KS8000 and was just going to pick up the X900E.
I don't know if its worth the extra $300 for the 2018 model or not.

Yes! That's charming as hell. Do we know when it comes out?

No it definitely wasn't that.
I believe the game you are looking for is Tunic.

XBL: rK noKt
PSN: Nokt_eXe
Battlenet: Nokt#1105
Steam: Nokt / Offensivebiasx (I never know if which one I'm suppose to use)
Not sure what my switch is. I've never looked.

These "artsy" movies are always hard to see. There are in town for just a few days and if I miss it, its a half hour drive to find another theater showing it.
Definitely going to make the trip for this though. I've been looking really forward to this.

$36.67 at Walmart right now. Not digital, but close to its lowest price

That is one thing they haven't got right - the PVP is just not fun, in any mode, for a variety of reasons. I've never once loaded into the crucible just to play a few matches for fun. I only play it to achieve some sort of in game goal, then I quit as soon as it's achieved, even mid-match. I really hope the fall update fixes it.
Honestly I think 6v6 isn't going to fix anything. Neither is allowing any weapon in any slot. Even the speed update was the right intention with the wrong implementation.
The problem with PvP is that kill times were far to slow, there was never an opportunity for individual skill. That was the amazing thing about thorn and TLW, everyone had one, but if you were good you could pull double or triple plays with it. You can't do that in D2, the speed update never should have been about the actual speed of the character, but about the weapons.

@Nokt and @Hurricane Game - thank you so very much for your kind gifts!
Didn't know what your most wanted on that list was, so I picked my favorite.
Hope you enjoy it!

Having put in 1000 hours into D1, I was burned out and burnt by what D2 offered initially at launch. That said, after the reveal of Cayde's fate with the incoming Awoken DLC, I was compelled to get back in and I went through the campaign and 2 DLC's fairly quickly. It's like an old flame reignited and I'm loving my time with it to be sure.
As for differences, the static stat rolls will be null and void come September as they are re-integrating random rolls again (YAY!) and bringing back 6v6 across the board (thank fuck!) but aside from that it's pretty close to the original but far prettier with the 4K/HDR capabilities.
The biggest problem with 6v6 right now is that they don’t work with the maps at all, especially after the speed update. There is a very small selection of the maps we have the fit a 6v6 battlefield. I hope they plan on introducing a good selection of maps for the DLC.

Destiny 2 for most of the day. I was going to buy Mooncrash, but I spent my money elsewhere.
Dabbled a little in Witcher 3 as well.

I'm fairly confident that it was on sale during E3. I think it was 30-40 bucks.

Well shit, I guess Steam changed their gifting policy because it seems I can not send a gift to Wade due to "regional price differences". Fuck. Now what?
Its okay, I got you. I sent him something.

RTings gives it an 8.8
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/c8
Only real downsides are that it has a possibility of burn in and screen brightness changes with the scene.
Everything else is 8.2/10 or above.
EDIT: Upon digging around I think this is actually their highest rated TV ever. RTings is super in depth with their reviews.

Its quite disappointing that you can only trade with someone near you.

SNES
When selecting Unread Content all of the threads only take up 80% of the screen from right to left leaving the last 20% of the left side of the screen just blank.
When inside of a thread however it takes up the whole screen. Can we make it the same or at the very least center it?

I always thought Gamestop's attempt at getting into the retro market was poorly implemented.
Yeah it would be nice if they had pictures for each item with various pricing. It definitely isn’t a great system that they have right now.
Any Destiny fans? What are the major differences between Destiny and Destiny 2?

60 FPS makes the game feel so much better. I'm better on console than I am PC, but I'm getting better.
