He doesn't care at all. Our family last night lost another relative to covid-19, she spent over two months in a coma stuck on a ventilator but her body just couldn't take it anymore. This whole covid situation being so horribly mishandled is making me angrier every day. Republicans who sit idly by and let this garbage get worse piss me the fuck off so damn much. Seeing people just going out, eating out, traveling, and so on piss me off so damn much, especially when they are not wearing a mask, and especially moron trumpers and anti-maskers. This country is fucked man

I am excited for this, but at the same time, somewhat iffy about it. Still buying it. Still playing it though.

I won't vote yet, because my wife and I got tested yesterday afternoon. She got her results overnight (from Kaiser) and luckily it came back negative, or more precisely, "not detected." I still haven't received my results yet... 

Friends of the family tested positive, and my family of course is irresponsible and came into contact with them after inviting them to a fucking party. I didn't know about this and I stopped by mom's later on to help my brother with a fuse issue in his car. I found out about it later that night.

In my time here with them I don't recall any major issues discussed except for mistreatment of CW's. And then shortly after  they get disabled. It's possible I've just missed the discussions entirely as my team gets really busy at times, but I wouldn't leave out the possibility of things getting cracked down on before I get a chance to see it when I do browse the workplace or people too afraid to say anything. I mean, I've had desire to respond to stuff against the grain (can't remember what it was at the moment) but was afraid of retaliation, so never did.

I'm just a CW, so there's a good chance that I can't view certain groups/posts. But from what I can see, these people are oblivious or ignoring it, absolutely no mention of it.

It's kind of the opposite though from what I've seen over the last year and half or so. People kiss Zuckerberg or Sandbergs ass the moment they post something, I mean literally will like or love what they post within seconds without reading anything. I hate it but this is what I ended up signing up for and stuck with for now.

Ah thank you guys for the info. This was like a snowball effect for me... I mean, I've been wanting to ask and find out for a long time, but felt overwhelmed at what seemed like a deep, long history and embarrassed to ask. Over time, the feelings just kept getting bigger.

Okay so I'm absolutely embarrassed to ask you guys this at this point in my life, but I've always been lost when it comes to Israel and Palestine. I don't know what's going on and where the conflict begins and ends, if that's what it is... is there a good resource that explains and summarizes this whole thing like as if I'm a 5 year old.

I propose we sign a petition and have all movie theaters across the globe play only Keanu movies for a full 24 to 48 hours, either starting with or ending with this masterpiece.

That's good! Much better than fighting for a spot on r/acturnips. When I did my visit, I tried to leave a tip but I couldn't find the island owner, so I found their house and was about to drop it in one of their rooms but then I was kicked out for taking too long I guess. I felt bad that I couldn't leave a tip.

Not sure if I was lucky, but I used turnip.exchange to look through islands. Found one that was empty at the time and selling at 584, maybe worth a try.

I made an Oakland A's hat if anyone wants it, and a Tool T-shirt (just the front). Also, re-arranging your island is a pain... moving one house per day is slow and frustrating, especially after realizing I've been moving my houses too close together so I can't really give anyone front yards.

Weren't there reports of young people who did go out to vote but many couldn't wait for 4+ hours because they couldn't afford to, so they had to leave? As opposed to older people who don't work and literally have all the time in the world until they die?
